Morning,

One cool thing about dolls is the fact they can look so realistic. I've been using my dolls as models to hold items I sell online, which has come with better sales and better presentation overall even if the item is just a small toy. The visual of a beautiful woman presenting an item for sale isn't exactly new, but a beautiful doll can stack up just the same.

This is genius idea!

Have people wondering "Who the hell is this pretty lady?" and "There's something off about her, though....Can't quite put my finger on it..." *clicks buy and fills in CC info without even knowing, too fixated with thinking about the mystery lady*

Do you think selling items online with a picutre of our doll will raise the bids on ebay? Just for example.
Do not understand me wrong but I could imagine, showing a doll could even have a negative effect on customers or even scare them off to buy something. Still, not all people in the world like dolls and many people associate them with negative experiences or as a scary figure/symbol from the past. From the history dolls always had a popular but also an unpleasant reputation. Especially real adult dolls still aren't accepted by the society. People who have an adult doll are freaks, they live with illusions or even dellusions because they treat an item like a real person. That's not normal, that's sick. And so on...

A doll is also something different than a mannequin where you can show fashion.

You know what I am trying to say.

At least one must try it out..... But I doubt showing a doll on pictures will always benefit the sales.

Not really man, but it makes taking the pictures fun and stand out from other sellers.

Plus the doll is never fully shown or is even mentioned to be a doll, just simple glimpses of the top half but mostly only the hands are shown.

You're blowing things out of proportion man. The whole point of taking these kinds of photographs is for fun, same reason I posted them here. Even if it doesn't cause sales to explode, which it hasn't, I only sell games I'm done playing and small lots of airsoft parts. Not exactly using my dolls to sell inventory in the hundreds while they wear bikinis.

I know what you mean and I have understood your intentions, Sate.
But are you 100% sure, that a doll will never have a negative effect on buyers and everyone will receive your intentions correctly? I have my doubts. It's only my opinion so please accept that.

But in one point you are probably right. Mafia III is a worse game ( see also rating on http://www.gamerankings.com ) so your beautiful doll will never be the reason for a bad sale.

Got it man, sorry for the attitude. I woke up with a little irritable this morning.

I wish Mafia wasn't such a monotonous game though, it had potential with the generation jump to Xbox One / PS4 but became really cookie-cutter in the mission structure. I did like the ending though, so at least it wasn't a complete loss.

Oh, I've forgotten you live in another time zone. We have evening here in germany now.

Mafia 1 for PC was the best part in my opinion.
But in general I play only role-playing games. Do you also like this kind of genre, Sate? Or do you more comfortable with ego-shooters?

I do man, my favorite RPGs includes the older Zelda titles and I'm planning on getting the Skyrim remaster. I don't play on PC so getting mod support for consoles is gonna be really fun, I want to recreate my doll Elina in the game.

Mafia 2 was my favorite from the series thanks mostly to Vito and Joe. Mafia 1 had a great story but I watched a full playthrough of it after playing Mafia 2, and a lot of it's uniqueness in story was already in my head from the sequel. Great characters between both titles, although Mafia 3 had some great characters as well (Donovan is my favorite).

Not much of a shooter fan, the last one I played was the new Doom and I really got a lot of fun out of that one. Always prefer fighting a threat to humanity rather than fighting other humans in games. I also finished up Gears of War 4, but much preferred Gear 3 for the better story.

Yes, the story! A big important element in role-playing games. I am influenced by this genre to much.

Elder Scrolls series is very nice but sadly to much action-adventure and hack&slay oriented because you always play only one character. The opposite of role-playing. Same with Zelda series.

While this is initially true, I found some so called "companion mods" allowing you to actually create a party of "followers" around your character, so I then played Oblivion and Morroblivion( Morrowind in the Oblivion engine) with a group of usually 2 to 4 lovelies joining me.
I do like to play from an observers/3rd person view though, so your mileage may vary.

Ooh, a fellow JRPG and LoZ fan? Anyone a fan of those is a cool person in my book. Speaking of JRPG, have you played any of the Tales of * series? I loved those!! Right now I'm playing Okami for the Dolphin emulator right now, which plays a lot like Wolf Link from LoZTP

I am loving this game, I don't know how it skipped my fingers when it came out. Next up on my list is Shadow Colossus, which I have heard some really good stuff about. I still need to finish KH2, Paper Mario Wii, and FFXII, though... Those were fun, until my save games got corrupt.
