What is up with DS and were are they Headed??

We ordered our lite dolls through a vendor on the forum here. All we want are our dolls. We understand things happen. We would just like the products we ordered.

When did the Lite become officially released to western markets? My understanding was they they werent shipping this product outside of China/Japan right now

I do agree, but weren't you on your way to Japan - giving you access to ALL the products via Arte Tokio, even the ones not even sold by EX in China?

If you make it, maybe consider acting as a relay to Arte Tokio, selling their great products to a starving western audience.

In any case, my wish is for DS/EX to refrain from going the "cheaper" route and instead establish themselves firmly in the slightly higher priced "midrange" sector with an emphasis on "durability" and "value for money" - a former stronghold of them that they sadly seem to deviate from of late.

Yep, that's my plan, unfortunately life happened and I am forced to stay here in the US for a bit longer. I've got some business to take care of first before I leave. It's good business, though

Exactly what I would hope from DS. Plenty of manufactures in the race to the bottom of the price. I want a doll for people who realize that cheapest is not always the best value for money.

For everything I find that there is a price 'knee' where you get the best quality/value per dollar. DS seemed to be right at that knee a few years ago but they have fallen since.

My perception about the last few years is similar.

This is brilliant. My wife complains that men have it all their way and there aren't male dolls. That doesn't mean she wants one. She asks me why I like female dolls and then accuses my relationship with them as being sexually driven when I say that I prefer women to men as far as dolls are concerned.

But the availability of male dolls will ease diplomatic relations for some couples.

Not sure that the mini qualifies as a failure. Other then it was DS who screwed up the roll out here in the USA/Canada, I'm pretty sure it is still a good seller on the EXDoll site (I have, behind the scenes, helped sell a few DS Minis with my 3's pictures and some questions via pm).

I am jumping with joy that I was able to back out of the pre order for the EX Lite, (JMHO) but YUCK!!

I'm still waiting for DS to keep their promise to return the mini to the US market. You know, temporarily removed for upgrades. They wouldn't lie, now would they?

They may never be able to send you the mini.
