What is up with DS and were are they Headed??

I for one have lost any interest in their products. They don't answer my emails, they don't offer any where near the range of products to us "westerners" as is offered at their main web site EXDoll.

It drives me nuts when someone says "Oh, they just want to get it right before they sell them to us". What does that even mean, they hate their own people and sell them crap before they get it just right for us. Give me a break.

I'm old enough and seen enough to know that our share of their market ( DS ) is just a fraction of their sales (EXDoll).

So we get the same old tried and true "safe" product and we are suppose to be impressed when some minor upgrade is made to that product?

Prove me wrong DS, open up ALL your EXDoll products to DS.........

I'll wait but I won't hold my breath!

Still waiting for them to finish 'upgrading' the skeleton of the DS-mini so I can get my replacement. Sigh.

They took away the 145cm Plus! Oh wait they said 'upgrade' the skeleton. That shit better be more flexible than a contortionist!

Looks like DS cannot fullfil your expectations anymore...... I begin to understand your anger.

In my opinion.....of course DS dolls are far away from the conception of the term "perfection". Every owner knows that so we don't need to fool ourself. The finger bones are very fragile, the toes are very sensitive and cannot hold the weight of the doll. In general the joints and the silicone are susceptible..... That's not the definition of perfect. So I doubt the production costs vindicate the acquisition costs.... including the shipping.

BUT the look is simply unique and outstanding. I would make all these compromises anytime. Only DollSweet could offer me a doll with the perfect appearance that I have looked for.

Yep, ordered 3 times from them.

1. Got in on day 2 of DS Mini and even tho it was a bit longer then they said, it was worth the wait and no complaints.

2. My second DS Mini was sent on a joy ride of from China to Japan to China to Japan to China to Alaska to Kentucky were it was snatched by Customs. A letter was sent to shipper and yet DS has not answered what was in it! Partial refund and adios. NO MORE MINIS FOR YOUSE GUYS IN USA / CANADA was the end result.

3. Order 3 is for a EX-Lite, submitted incognito and was 1 of the pre sale 500. Now I hear they have shipped 1,500 and do you see any pictures of my doll posted??

Should just do biz with the vendors then. Quicker responses than the mfg, same cost, and you know they're verified if they're on here

I don't want to look for lame excuses rather know the true problem..... so don't understand me wrong LongeRanger.

It would be interesting to know if someone from europe or another continent had similar circumstances like you. Were there not some complaints about american customs regulations? Maybe the efficient reason for the circumstances could be the laws of your country and only partially DS?? I've only read that USA has stupid customs regulations and difficulties with young looking dolls.

the EXDOLL and DSDOLL are same company, we use brand EXDOLL in China. all the products are same.

we removed some products from our Englsih website (www.dsdoll.us), include mini doll and 145 dolls.
because the mini doll plastic skeleton had some problem on the waist joint. we have to design new skeleton for it and design a new face looks more mature. she will come back next year.
the 145 dolls are still available, we are just make some new make-up for those 145 doll head, we will upload them back on our website soon.

we try to make every doll perfect, we hope every doll owner satisfied with our dolls.

We ordered our lite dolls through a vendor on the forum here. All we want are our dolls. We understand things happen. We would just like the products we ordered.

I don't want DS to die. They have great faces and skeletons. It's saddening to see they have removed so many of their dolls from the US store.

I do agree, but weren't you on your way to Japan - giving you access to ALL the products via Arte Tokio, even the ones not even sold by EX in China?

If you make it, maybe consider acting as a relay to Arte Tokio, selling their great products to a starving western audience.

In any case, my wish is for DS/EX to refrain from going the "cheaper" route and instead establish themselves firmly in the slightly higher priced "midrange" sector with an emphasis on "durability" and "value for money" - a former stronghold of them that they sadly seem to deviate from of late.
