Yes indeed. She is in recovery just now and will be saying hullo later.
She had breast compression but thwt is coming out nicely.

Ok a couple of advices here.
For the gap in joints, i used a little super glue to place the foam over the edge of the pom disk on each joint.

When the pom plate comes out like in my first photos. I gently hammered it back into place. Very lightly and slowly. As not to break anything i lightly hammered on the top of the clip until eventually it went back in .

I also replaced the wig carefully with a new one. She will be quite unique.

The latex i am waiting for it to cure over before i try and stand her up.

Great repair work samara78 it's nice to see she's in good hands

Compression wise I found when I put tight underwear on my Mia for a long period of time she can get some very noticeable compression marks due to her soft foam but these usually totally disappear after about 3 hours on the torso and usually about 6 hours on the tops of the legs from the tights as the leg foam is harder so your girl should be fine by the time her repairs are done.

Are you saying that the plastic connectors for the legs that are on the torso are a push fit into the skeleton seeing as you were able to hammer them back into the foam?

Also did detaching the wig from the Velcro damage it in any way?

Taking the wig off was fine i started at the front and worked my way back. I put on the new wig starting at the front and working my way back. This doll is rather a supermodel and a nice display doll.

The foam on the top of thigh still needs to press out some. It should be fine after a while.

I forgot to mention that i broke the flat round disk that is in her upper thigh. I have bought a special adhesive to try and deal with it. I will keep you all posted. Another reason to only hammer on the pegs, and NOT on the disk section.

As you can see, all the foam is put around the disc with a little dab of super glue. It had to be sanded real well before applying the adhesive mix. Hopefully this stuff works good either way it will be 24 hours before i know for sure.
So far it isn't peeling up from the plastic at all.

Edit i was worried if this stuff would work or not on the disk. It seems just fine. It will full cure in 24 hours. In other words 8 pm tomorow.

Great thread going on here ... will be very useful as more and more EXlites start hitting the market and moving into new homes. I'm very interested to see what you come up with for minor and major skin repairs.

Hey, how is the latex working out for the vagina split? Glad to see that the latex easily peeled off the skin, so we know that something other than latex will be needed for skin repairs.

Do you yet know what the skin is made of? Maybe we can find a good repair substance that will stick well and be close in color matching?

The skin is not vinyl. Though vlp worked to seal a crack at the corner of her mouth.

Here is the plastic adhesive i used on her thigh plate. It worked really well and made a huge difference.

Sand the area to be fixed real well beforehand.
Dust away any debri. Mix equal parts( it really stinks) apply with a flat peice of card to the desired area. Let set fore 24 hours.

Does the other part you fixed around the cavity feels harder or different to the touch compared to the parts around the tear?
