DS Doll compatible wth JM Showing stand?

Post by ILuvFemsNlingerie »

I'm still contemplating getting a DS 145+ or a JM 130 and if I go DS I want something to use to move her around easiler.
I know DS has a hanging kit but I don't want to drill in the wall so the JM showing stand looks like a perfect solution.
My question is will a DS fit on the hook of the JM showing stand?

Thanks
ILFnL

The stand for the 160 can be modded for a 145 ds doll.

Hi ILFN,

If you want the JM showing stand, why not apply my method on it like in this review I made >>> http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=85365

Similar form, just use the swing belt to mount the hook on the stand. The only problem about hanging kit I find is that she swings around and she can't move her neck for different head motion.

The dolls can actually stand on their own as long as her foot is stepping on something soft like sponge and she won't get damage. I notice this during her shipping. She was drop off my house on the box standing for 5 hours and I checked that her foot isn't hurt at all. The foam protection on the box is a best example of what can protect the doll from standing.

For me, using DS hook is very inconvenient. I just found it very hard to use.

Cheeks!

Thanks for the reply RJAce.

I forgot about that thread I'll look through it again and maybe see if I can get that stand when I order a DS (still not sure if I'l get it or the JM) but it should work either way.

You should check my thread more often xD I do provide helpful ways for DS to function. I given this product an almost perfect score so I want to dedicate myself to help them reach the grade of 10 on my doll standard.

So far, this standing issues this DS have is very actively killing it's consumer. The hanging kit is useless too if you don't know how you're doing and very inconvinient at times.

Cheers,

RJ

I need to figure out how to use your method on the JM showing stand. I could use the hook you used and attach that to a clip like what's at the end of your strap things and would hand on the main hook of the stand. Sorry I hope that makes sense.

That strap is actually built for swings. It should withstand weight tensions.

Though I doubt the hook of DS would. One of my hook bend. So that's why, I'm scared to stand them again for longer periods of time.

If I can get one of those JM stand. I'd be happy to make a review.

Cheers,

From what I see on JM showing stand is that it's a hook going up. I think the Swing strap is not a bad idea. Why not try that first. My only point and reason is if it can carry the doll properly especially a DS doll. Which one is lighter? Is JM heavier? If so, then DS would be not a big of a deal.

I still recommend the cheap clothing rack as you can hang multiple dolls instead.

Yeah the cheap clothing rack would be cool but I only have room for one more doll so that's why I want to get the JM stand.
The DS 145+ is like 12lbs heavier than the JM 130.

You have to make sure, the stand is capable of carrying bit more lbs. You want them secured and if JM doll stand has limits since it's similar or closer to DS Stand, why bother with JM stand? The wheels?

Yeah that and I didn't think DS had a stand just the hanging kit.
it can easily hold up to 176lbs.

They do have a stand....

And then this is how you use the hanging kit.....

And this is the hook for the body only.....

You have to tell them what doll size you have first though. I don't know how this stand works but I guess it's adjustable.
