As I wait for my Virgin Rose Doll to arrive I can't help but wonder, "Where am I going to find clothes for her?" I don't know of any other 32 inch tall dolls, so I'm guessing there aren't a lot of doll clothes that size. I've heard that the clothes from a My Size Barbie might work, but I have no idea if that's true.

I thought about stretchy elastic clothes like leggings and mesh teddys, but I don't know if they'd be small enough unstretched.

Any ideas?

Hello Ohlongjohn. I think that you are really going to love your VRD when she comes. They are great little dolls. Well made, durable and very cute. Their size makes them one of, if not the easiest silicon dolls to store and move around. The downside, as you know, is finding clothing that will fit.

Due to the short length and small circumference of the doll's torso and legs I don't think you will be able to find any teddys or leggings/stockings that will fit her properly. You may be able to use a pair of infant sized tights and infant socks. You could always make some outfits for her if you are the crafty sort. If you can make them I bet that you could start a side business here making outfits for other forum members.

About a month or two ago there was a VRD for sale by a forum member that was wearing a my size Barbie outfit. The VRD was wearing the outfit, not the forum member. Well, I don't know, maybe he was wearing one too. Anyway, he stated that the outfits would fit the VRDs, but were a little tight across the chest. (viewtopic.php?f=122&t=41076&hilit=vrd)

Oh, there was also a post in the Mini Love Doll section a few months back about a company that will custom make clothing for dolls if you send them the measurements. Maybe they can make clothing for the VRD as well (viewtopic.php?f=120&t=40537). Might be worth checking out.

Good luck with your doll and with your search for clothing. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for the info. Those clothes look pretty good.

Sadly, crafty I am not. I guess I'm going to have to experiment.

Along the lines of finding things to fit a VRD, does anyone know of a lockable trunk, foot locker, storage chest, etc that fit's her? I have a foot locker, but it's only 28 inches long. I've been searching, but they're all under 32 inches. I think I'd need one about 3 feet long to work well for storing her.

I am also exploring TDF to find a source too for Mona... Except adjusting existing clothes... Or sawing...

I think clothes for "Build a Bear" are close.

Can anybody confirm that My Size Barbie clothes do, in fact, fit? The measurements don't quite match up. MSB: 18-12-18 and VRD: 19-12-21. I talked to an Ebay seller who would not modify her designs for that size and felt sure that none of her stuff would fit. Any info would be very helpful. I've just come into a fixer-upper VRD and she's in the process of being re-born.
