Integrated Bluetooth speaker

Post by siliconefun »

Hi Abyss friends,

Today I want to share my RD2 mod I've done to integrate a Bluetooth speaker into the doll's head. Both of my RD2 girls, Zoe & Amy, have the X-face system with the foam skull caps.

There's a Bluetooth speaker kit from Realbotix https://realbotix.systems/ available which I tested a few months ago on Zoe but you always need to remove speaker unit from the head for recharging & pairing with your device.

These speakers meet my requirements: once installed in the head there's no need to remove them for recharging & pairing, just perfect!

Back on the PC, I created an adapter for the Philips speaker with a cylindrical shaped outer diameter. That way I just need to make a 80 mm cylindrical hole in the foam caps. The adapter will be fixed with RTV-1 silicone onto the foam and holds the speaker unit in place.
The new foam skull caps for Amy and Zoe are on my workbench and I can proceed to continue, let's go:

All new foam skull caps!!
They've changed the foam color from white to flesh, they looks great!!

The original hole widened to a 80 mm cylindrical hole:

Creating the speaker adapter
CNC milling makes it easy:

The puzzle on the workbench:

Assembled and glued, it looks like this:

Continuation follows...

Thanks dullahan :D . It was quite some work to realize this project but I like to do such mods. The speaker sounds much better when it's integrated in the head.
I can use it with the Realbotix Harmony AI app, all kind of sound files, music 8O .....just what I like to hear

I bet it sounds really great when the sound is coming from where it is supposed to. If I was as crafty as you, I'd do a similar mod. Audio is pretty important to me, especially for affection. That's why I'm interested in the Harmony AI as well :)

If you want to test dynamic sex sounds, I just shared a prototype version of my sex sound app in the Inventor's corner.
