Removing insert that was glued or partly bonded

Post by Cnyb »

So my doll box had instructions for installing the insert, however the inser was already installed and mostly stuck to the vinyl. I can get between the insert and the vinyl in one area, I thought try to pull it out looks like I might need to use a knife...

I guess I'm liable to tear things up do you think there's a good chance I can remove insert without damaging the vinyl seals? Removable would be convenient

Good on you. The best way is with 90% rubbing alcohol. It softens the glue that holds it in.

Ah will make a note of that. I got piping hot water and dipped a boxcutter in it that worked ok.
