Re: New generation WM models?
Maybe there's someone who can confirm that for you
You have bought a WM158 4 month ago..
This model is from 2015 and is still produced and sold. Like the WM161,163,165 later WM155, WM140
There was no wrist rotation on the first released dolls.
All dolls of that generation got 2016 an upgrade on the wrist for this rotation.
There is NO new generation of these dolls, what i would call for example WM158 2.0.
It's said, there was an improvement on the wrist...
The issues, you mentioned with delicate fingers and wrists are still there on these dolls, even on dolls sold the last months. Like yours..
If you search the forum, you will easy find some threads about that - especially on your WM158
Main problem is, the dislocated wires of the fingers from the wrist plate. And this happens without force or careless use like some people here make us believe.
In the mid of 2016 there came a new generation with firmer TPE, improved skeleton in some ways and even better built wrist design. One of the first was the WM141 (RLSD) which i owned because of that improvement.
Then there were coming dolls like the WM165K,WM152,WM160,WM153,WM168/170,WM158 A-Cup(New doll - nothing to do with your158) YL135,YL155D,YL150,YL160.. OR156,OR160,OR162... where these issues are solved!
I can confirm this, because i owned the WM160, which is build like it would last for ever. With even thicker wires on the fingers and nothing to compare with the 158 hand design.

Re: New generation WM models?
It's a kind of dilemma! Very soft skin is amazing, but easy to damage.
My WM160 is also very firm, but for the heavy weight it's just ok for me.
So, the solution is : one doll is never enough
What i also think is, that WM, YL, or OR use different TPE formula for different types and weights

You know what?Jakeelliot100 wrote: WM 158 or similar with stronger fingers/hands is the holy grail for me lol.
For me too
But in a 2.0 version. with more details on the body, thicker thighs /legs, same ass or even some more ass,
more durable skin...
Nearly a WM160, but only nearly...
You would like her, besides her firmer body.
You could also consider a YL155D or OR156D - both amazing bodies.
Softness of the YL155D is known for a very nice TPE formula. OR156D skin isn't also too bad

There is a lot of truth to what you said Harem; and I'm glad someone had pointed it out. TPE dolls had come a long way from when they originated; then reached the peak in terms of TPE quality and softness mixture, and now it has since declined which is disheartening and very unfortunate.
When I purchased my first WM153 in 2013 the TPE was oily, had a plastic like scent that never went away, and stained very easy although it had moderate softness.
Then several dolls later in 2015 I noticed they came out with a TPE which stained less, had less scent although initially it was strong, and softer with incredible jiggly breasts and buttocks. This was about the same time the tan skin tone originated. That was the true highlight of the TPE mix era. To those who don't think softer TPE can be durable, this generation of TPE proved that wrong; it was both durable and soft. Of course the manufactures didn't know or tell you at that time you needed to Vaseline the high stretch areas so everyone incurred some TPE tearing in the leg area.
Then in late 2016 came another generation of TPE that was super firm. I think I must have got one of there experimental dolls because my 140cm A-cup was ROCK HARD RUBBER. The breast didn't jiggle, butt felt like a firm pillow with stones in it. Felt like I was sleeping next to a store made plastic mannequin
Then the had this ultra soft TPE which tears easily. In fact the best years for TPE mixes were in 2015 to maybe early 2016. I think what happened was some very vocal doll owners said that there TPE wasn't durable enough. We've all seen the tore up damaged TPE dolls for sale every now and then. Fact is; some people; as they were as kids, abuse things they own. Like cars, they don't take care of them. You can't bend a TPE doll to the extreme and put it on a hard floor while pounding it and not expect some tears. Shippers too mishandle dolls to the extreme now a days and caused people to have damaged TPE dolls on arrival which is another reason TPE manufacturers probably went to the new generation of what I like to call ROCK TPE; because it's too hard.
It's unfortunate but I won't be purchasing another TPE doll until they bring back that super great mix of softness and durability. That was the highlight golden years of TPE. Yes TPE can be durable and soft, they did it once before; it's just not so durable you can do whatever you want to it without some thought and care. TPE is not silicone and that is why I use to like it; but no longer.
I had some amazing soft ORdolls, YLdolls, and WMdolls, but the new generation of TPE doesn't cut it. And I'm not talking about ultra soft; I'm talking just the right mix of softness to allow jiggling breasts, buttocks and cuddling experiences. Just like real women have soft skin; so should a TPE doll.

Re: New generation WM models?
can you just say, which were your softest jinsan dolls?
My are by far the WM158 (most real feeling tits of them all) and the YL148 which has maybe the best mix between durability and softness with good handling weight.
The WM158 was the most amazing doll, but my first one. So had unfortunately some issues with knee joints poking through the skin. But this wouldn't happen again with my experience that i have today
Like i'm said before, the TPE formula today isn't always the same. Some are more firm, some more soft.
YL dolls use on dolls like the YL155D a very soft mix, that comes relatively close to that old types
Re: New generation WM models?
I'm also sick of these relative terms for softness, "Extra soft", "Ultra soft", etc. We need numbers:
