WM Gaga - 163cm

Well 11 days later and my 163 cm will be here on Saturday the 12th. I Persuaded UPS to let me pick up the package on a day they were not open. Luckly for me we have a main hub here and I know the people very well because I have lived here for 40 yrs. Can't wait to post some pic's. The Sales manager Sam at WMDOLLS is a very professional and personable gent to work with. I think coming fro Hong KONG it was a short trip considering she was by herself.

I was wondering about the insert cavity dimensions on the 163cm (Misty). I have one on order, but would like to start considering insert options in case I don't have anything that will fit. staycool64, sorry to hear that you won't get yours until Monday.

I picked this thread because its the one with the measurement section and the question is - what is the underbust circumference - by the pictures and other values I'd guess 65-66cm, but would like a measured value.

2nd question - and pardon me if its already written elsewhere and i just overlooked it - what type of skeleton is used( loose or tight = able to stand on its own or not) and what kind of limb movement / rotation can be done.

In any case, lovely doll.

I measure her underbust circumference to be 62-63cm. She has a tight skeleton to begin with, but some have said that the joints will loosen over time. I don't believe her skeleton is designed for unsupported standing poses. In addition, because TPE is so soft the material on the bottom of the feet can be damaged from the pressure of her weight while standing. It's a good idea to limit standing poses and use shoes that can help keep the TPE on the feet from expanding under pressure. (Insert Queen song here.

As far as limb movement, she seems to have roughly the same range of motion as a human. Some poses like having her arms straight up over her head would likely risk damage to the TPE under her arms though. It's probably a good idea to minimize extreme poses.

I agree with dragonfly8878 on the picture , this is a beautiful doll ( thanks for not having a meat suit on gaga though lol , it would have spoiled her looks !

the only thing I can say though as always is , hopefully you as with other companies can keep researching to find ways to make the doll lighter .
weight ( this company isn't the only one with this problem , some high end doll companies have the same problem to ) with some dolls is the only draw back I see , that and staining problems , otherwise these dolls can keep up as far as looks , as good as high end silicon dolls can .
