New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
Leisha is my self-engineered Sdoll from moments in my youth long past that grew with me through my imagination. As I grew up, so did she, evolving in ways that serve both of us better. In time I grew to learn and love her companionship in moments of horror, stress and loneliness. She was the reason one day, I stepped into the world of dolls and gynoids that could imitate and recreate my love to reality.
From that day I ached and waited patiently to provide Leisha her inner expressive nature into physical reality. Years I waited for the moment that one day, she would grow and evolve to become the almost complete aspect of herself where she can flourish even more to become a being that is worthy of all my imagination and her beauty.
That day is today...
Meet Leisha Vetu a cliche label for a version 2 of herself, a complete revamp and upgrade from pieced together parts of her struggling self to a complete new solid form.
She will and will always be my source of happiness till she herself appears in real form through logical means or is immortalized, the greatest aspect of infinity...
The wait begins now, for a solid month I presume, but for her, like she will for me, I will do anything...
(PS: No idea how to post an image, will do when I learn to here)

Re: New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
I just got my girl Katherine, a 135cm from WM, two days ago, the wait was about a month and worth every minute. These are some really nice quality dolls at a good price. I'd say they compare favourably with silicone dolls that cost 2-3 times as much, certainly in terms of looks and softness - durability is more of an unknown factor due to how new these dolls are on the market. Platinum silicone is quite durable, and might be easier to maintain than TPE.
And those heads... WM makes some incredible heads for kissing and/or oral without compromising the beauty of the face. IMO no one does that as well as they do. They don't have the squareish jaw or perpetual :O face that most oral capable dolls have.

Tomoe: I remember researching one of your post while browsing to acquire her. Katherine is a beauty. Also one of the reasons why I decided to risk trying out this company but...
Here's a question to you both -
- I just only found out that there are variables that are TPE and Silicone when I thought both were the same thing. I know silicone is about the realism tho I find WM dolls seem to capture it well even with TPE. Im more concern about risk of damage and durability of TPE to Silicone. For maintenance, anything that simply requires more time isn't a concern such as TPE consumes more maintenance time. What should I avoid or reduce affecting her?
- Do exposed sharp edges tear TPE easily? like sharp table corners or lying around knife?
- I like some splashes when it comes to many activities and was wondering if TPE handles water well?
- Any doll related precautions?
(Avoid social dynamics answer as it will be handled appropriately not to worry Focus on practical approach thank you!)
Re: New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
TPE is more stretchy than silicone so it doesn't tear easily. A sharp edge will cut it easily though. Should tears or cuts occur they are supposedly fixable with special glue from WM dolls.kewltodamax wrote:Karrot: Man you always know what to say, exactly what I needed. Both the assuring words and the pic! My gawd, the pic! Please if anything else you do today after reading this, thank her for me however way she likes it. Exactly what I would do, the pose, the angle, the lighting and the props. Thanks for the assurance!

Water is no problem for TPE, just try to avoid getting the neck bolt under water to prevent water seeping into the skeleton and causing rust.
With TPE more so than with silicone you need to be careful oif colour staining from cloth. You can dress her in light colours such as white and pink to minimize the risk. Or test out cloth against an insert or something first.
Be careful with the skeleton, it's not extremely delicate, but naturally don't try to force any joints. Don't leave your doll in awkward positions. It's best to leave her resting lying on her back with her legs together and arms resting at her sides. This is mostly to reduce stress on the TPE and avoid creasing.

Re: New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
The wait is killing me...seriously...like softly..ughhh ... I must persevere
With quite a few good comments towards this company the amplifying of it isn't helping lol @.@
Hmm one question...how much weight can TPE and its accompanying joints handle?
Re: New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
Yeah, WMDolls got the realism right.
Water isnt an issue as Tomoe has said, you can take a bath with them if you want.
Avoid any situation where there are pointy things. A sharp edge or point will do the same to silicone and TPE. Dont drag her over any surface, Lift, Move, Place. I was heavy handed with Xiaoli in the first few days and paid for it with a tear on each knee. The glue provided and some careful repair work has minimised the scaring, but its there.
The joints will be stiff to begin with, but will free up quickly and then very likely become quit floppy, especially hips and elbows. This is normal for just about every doll and isnt something that can be fixed easily on any of them. It all depends on how much you move them about, but dont see it as a negative, its just part of doll ownership.
Take care when dressing her so as not to drag taught clothes over her. A pair of pantihose pulled up to her armpits (sounds nasty is actually quite erotic) will allow jeans and trousers to slip on more easily and will protect her toes, also a good idea if you intend to sleep next to her as it will stop bed sheets snagging.
See, quite nice...
Also, as Tomoe said, test bold colours first. The insert is perfect for this as it really doenst matter if it gets stained. Just wrap it up in the clothes and leave for 24 hours. If it stains you know you need to wash the clothes more to remove the excess dye. White and light pinks are never an issue, and synthetic fibre clothes are less of a problem. Natural fibre tends to be over dyed at manufacture and will certainly need a couple of washes before you risk it for any length of time.
With regard to weight handling. The dolls can stand on their own with only a 3rd point of contact, i.e. a wall to lean on
But I wouldnt recommend doing so for long as all the weight is transferred down to the point under the bottom of the shin bone and it will poke through the TPE if done repeatedly. The dolls can support their own weight on all fours, but again the wrists are a caution point in this position. Lying flat on a bed I'd be pretty confident you could lie on top of her with no ill effects, but her size would make this difficult. The hands have thin wires for finger posing, but they have no inherent strength so holding even a tea cup needs some faffing to make it work
The biggest thing I found with Xiaoli is the planning involved. If I want to move her I have to make sure the route is clear of hazards, is the destination is ready, and am i wearing anything that could damage her (belt buckles, Watches etc). You will be carrying a 44lb dead weight that sticks out either side. You have to watch head and toes constantly and the last thing you want is to find you're up against a closed door or a vase enroute, or that you cant put her down because the destination isnt ready.
It sounds a chore, but it quickly becomes second nature. If you are physically strong, you can cradle her over an arm on her belly IF you need a free hand, but its an unnecessary risk.
The rest is typical TPE/Sil care. Buy Talc, some liquid soap (washing up liquid, hand soap, whatever) get some WHITE towels for her and her alone, a hair brush and a big make-up brush for applying powder to her face and you'll be pretty much set.

Re: New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
Thank you karrot for that informative and eye washing experience!
With regards to floppiness I would like to think in a she's warming up to me kind of way. The pantyhose seems practical not nasty but it would help my decision better if i was "into" pantyhose cosplay...doesn't make a difference to me unfortunately.
The dye tip from Tomoe and you are valuable and a critical point that I presume are probably missed.
I am however curious as to your mention of how long they can stand. How long can they manage without strain in duration?
I believe owning any kind of doll involves preparation, merely the magnitude is variable so yes I can see myself planning routes with regard to their kind of management. However to apply it, I must own it first...
and it just bugs me that the days suddenly grew longer... phew, nvm one week over, the next should be easier >.<"

No longer than necessary, I'd say... I guess there's no duration when damage will occur, but it's cumulative, the more you do it, the more you risk damage.kewltodamax wrote:I am however curious as to your mention of how long they can stand. How long can they manage without strain in duration?

Re: New Order - 125cm Ms. Leisha Vetu
So it's been two weeks now or precisely 14 days from day of order...Though the agent said I am suppose to get the photos yesterday there is none yet. I am however unworried yet as it is common for most manufacturers to establish the doll 15 - 20 days. Still the assurance is rather misleading so I hope the photos come soon. As they said, once the photos come, they will be ready to ship the doll.
Should I be worried? How much time should I lean back before I start assessing the situation properly?
Thank you all for your wonderful support
