WM Dolls Pubic Hair
It doesn't look like you have the option of pubic hair on any of your dolls. I'm always a little undecided when getting a new doll as to whether I want it or not, or whether I will want to change it in the future. I imagine it's a very labor-intensive process to install at the factory if the hairs are planted individually.
I was thinking maybe you could have a pubic hair patch that a doll owner could place on their doll with double-sided tape. I doubt it would stay on for long periods of time due to the oil in the TPE affecting the adhesive, but maybe it would be fine for shorter periods of time, like for a few photo shoots or something. If the back of the pubic hair patch was of a slick material, the double-sided tape could be removed easily when it was no longer working and replaced with new tape. Also, you could have different styles like a classic triangular shape, a rectangle, a narrow strip, or a heart shape. You wouldn't even have to install them yourselves.
I trust doll owners would understand that the attachment of the pubic hair is temporary, and would consider it a definite advantage to be able to change it so easily. Especially if the only other option is to have none at all. Personally, I would love to be able to change the pubic hair on my dolls to suit my mood at the time. There is something very sexy about groomed pubic hair on a beautiful woman (or beautiful doll). I'm thinking this one's in love. Just a guess, though.

Pva glue is not permanent and washes off with warm water and does not harm the TPE.

Excellent idea. You did an amazing job on your doll. The photos in your thread look incredibly lifelike.Samurai wrote:You can also do it your self, its relatively easy.

Re: WM Dolls Pubic Hair
Hey lisabt3, that's good news. I went to look at the pubic hair options on the 1amUSA website and the WM Dolls website but didn't see anything. Did you contact Brent or someone directly?lisabt3 wrote:I just ordered a Tiffany, 135cm from 1am, and was able to choose from 3 pubic hair options.

I didn't want something permanent, so I opted out.

I guess because I ordered from Brent through email, it didn't come up. I'm with you, I'd rather not have something permanent.Obin wrote:I believe they ask during the ordering process. I was asked that when I ordered about a year ago.

I was just looking at those! Some of them are made from human head hair. I don't know why, but that kind of freaks me out. There's a company called Lacey Costume that makes synthetic beards that are only about $8. They have a fabric backing. I was thinking it would be possible to cut them down to the right shape and trim the hair length shorter, then use samurai's method of gluing or using double-sided tape. That way they could be reused without having to create them over and over. One could maybe get 4 or 5 merkins (great, funny word) out of one fake beard.

That reminds me of some mannequins that American Apparel dressed up with some out of control pubic hair for a little shock value:Karrot wrote:Or leave it long and put it in attractive crotch plaits

Me too. I've heard TPE is difficult to work with because it resists punctures more than silicone, so implanting hairs individually like is done with silicone might not give the same nice results.viniz113 wrote:Would like to see a doll that WM made with pubic hair to see how it looks
