I agree! WM has proven to be both talented in their artistry, and also quite active in creating new dolls and new faces. I'm amazed with both dolls I've gotten from them so far. I'm definitely ordering a Face #22 and probably another. They're hard to resist.

Very interesting. In these images, a person has modified the original face #22 to reflect the Golden Ratio for facial beauty.

I have to admit that the modifications, mainly shortening the cheek and nose area, change the face #22 from attractive to very attractive. WMdolls, I love your creations and appreciate what you do. Since the new face #22 isn't shown on your website yet, would you consider modifying your face #22 to be more like the second images? I truly believe it would increase your sales and lead to even greater success for your company.

I was already planning on getting a face #22 at some point, but if it looked like the second set of images I would want one immediately.

I realize it costs money to make a mold. I would be willing to help pay for a new mold if it benefits your wonderful company.

It is a drastic change. I do think this face looks a bit cuter with the modification.

I don't necessarily subscribe to the belief in mathematical ratios, though. I think every face is different, and that's what makes them beautiful. Some long, narrow faces look great, and some look more equine, which, despite my avatar, I find unattractive. Sometimes I notice a girl with a very wide round face, and she looks really cute. Other times a wide face can just look silly. It depends on the features. The same goes for the body, I see a lot of mention of ratios like ".7", and yes, that ratio looks very nice on women, but again, I think it's the different body styles that make women(and whoever else) so beautiful. If every girl had these ratios, would we not get bored looking at them, no matter how pretty? Like if everybody drove a Rolls~Royce. Not so special anymore. My humble opinion.

That is a fascinating article, Obin. It's interesting to see how physical attractiveness changes over time and how culture affects it. When I look at the idealized Greek statues of guys from a modern perspective, I think that their waists look too thick. They don't have enough of a V-shape. And the woman don't look athletic and healthy enough for me. They seem kind of pudgy, but without having the ultra-feminine curves of a 1940's pin-up model.

I to agree face 22 is pretty and the proposed modification of face 22 is prettier. I think the modified face is close to some faces that are already out there for other manufacturers. See topic http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=54598. To me the faces in that topic don't look alike but I think modified face 22 is close to both of them.

I like the open mouth look, and I really like the eyes. The eyes remind me a lot of a beautiful Korean woman I've seen on TV or online. For some reason the second face to me is a little cuter as well as still being beautiful. I'm completely in love with female Asian faces, though.
