Re: Wigs for WMdolls?
Wigs from most vendors should also work fine. Most wigs that are available from vendors will come in size "average" to fit most people's (or dolls) heads.
Size small and large are also sometimes available from wig shops, but rarely needed (unless she has a really small/huge head).
If a certain wig doesn't fit snug enough, you can usually find straps in the back of most wigs that can be pulled tight and hooked for a better fit.

Re: Wigs for WMdolls?
The Dollforum folks are A#1 in my book......and this is only my 1st day here, and haven't even gotten my sweetheart yet!!!!!! Tomorrow, I hope to be able to order the princess though. I am going to get the Teri model with the Asian head. Mmmmm Asian....my dreams will finally come true. It'll be my luck though to have a heart attack and die the night of its arrival. lol
And tubee.....that info will come in handy I'm sure, since that is the size I am getting! Nice knowing such a measurement a "head" of time. *hehehe*
Thank Ya'll!!!

After using the straps I have stains on the back of the head and for some reason a little on one ear and temple. I now have on a plastic wig cap, can not keep it tight, but maybe prevent further stains.
I hope the stain remover helps. 1AM says it is on order,

harvey, I am working on getting my girl, and have never had a doll before so I can't be of much help to ya', my friend. I really hope that the stain remover works out perfectly for you! I will be sure to keep your problem in mind in case mine does that, since she will have a black wig too...harvey48 wrote:Any one else getting stains from black wig straps? I also hope that someone with experience with black (or any color) wigs will jump in!

Ewood was having success with baking soda, here's a thread about it: http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=56028harvey48 wrote:I hope the stain remover helps. 1AM says it is on order,
There is some good information there. Good luck!

I tried the baking soda, did not see much difference. The baking soda dries out so I do not know how that would work. I would think it needs to stay moist but who knows.Seattle Slew wrote:Ewood was having success with baking soda, here's a thread about it: http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=56028harvey48 wrote:I hope the stain remover helps. 1AM says it is on order,

Re: Wigs for WMdolls?
He uses lots of baking soda, like a box full, in a bowl, with just a little bit of water, and makes a thick paste out of it. He rubs it on the doll in abundance, and then it takes time ... leave it on for a couple days, and see what happens...

Yes I did, still wonder how dried baking soda can do much, Mine dried out in 2-3 hours.
