The hole at the top of the vaginal cavity on the wm dolls

In my wm163 there's a hole at the top of the vaginal cavity. It leads to a m8-1.25 hole into which a suitably threaded shaft may be inserted, possibly for support. Hope this is helpful! I'll post pictures later.

It's been recommended to seal that hole so water doesn't enter the doll. I'm unsure what you plan, though.

WM has stated that this artifact has to do with methods used to hold the skeleton in place during production.

I was thinking about making a stand of sorts. It feels like a sturdy connection point.

Perhaps it might be useful for a stand but WM said around the time of New Year that they had now sealed that hole. It would be interesting to know when your doll was made.

It's dangerous for that hole to be there with dolls with an inbuilt vagina as liquids, whether biological or washing, can go up that hole and into the skeletal system. At best it makes cleaning not a matter of standing her in the shower and flushing out thoroughly with a jet of water.

For this reason I would recommend sealing that hole. Turn her upside down and insert a tube of Permatex flowable silicone with the long nozzle attached pushing it right to the end and withdraw an inch, squeezing out at least half the tube.

Until this hole is blocked it's dangerous to put her in the bath as moving from straight to sitting up can change internal volume and draw water in.

If anyone has given their doll a bath or cleaned her out with a jet of water, it's important to get the water out as soon as possible and not let it stay inside for a month or two. Any water that does get inside is most likely to accumulate in the legs, mainly the thighs and a slight bulge may be apparent and the thigh will slop rather than sound like a person when slapped. Insertion of a syringe hypodermic needle to suck it out with a syringe or to test for presence of water will not make a mark.

The danger to a doll with this hole is far outweighed by any convenience of fitting a stand.

Thank you, Harem. My doll was made around November of last year, before they promised to do so. Hopefully it no longer exists on the new models, but I have an idea in mind before I seal this one...

Even if the "liquid getting into body" issue was not an issue, I would not try to support the doll through the insert canal by the threaded piece. I assume the threaded hole was only used to support the mold piece for forming the insert canal.

I would be mainly concerned the weight of the doll suspended by a stand screwed into the skeleton piece could put a lot of unusual torque on it. If the weight of the doll and the construction of the skeleton was all in design and balance to support itself from this one point you would be fine, but chances are you be twisting or torqueing pieces that are not intended to be.

My thought was to assemble a stand to make her seem to be floating in the air, like the character she is dressed as. It would be a photo by the beach for no more than 5-10 minutes, supported by assistants. That could be an expensive 5-10 minutes if it went wrong, though...

Any suggestions, or is this something best left untried?
