WM Dolls 158cm Ordered - Fingers Crossed!

And why are my fingers crossed? Well, my first two dolls were high-end silicone (4woods and RealDoll 2) and this is my first experience with TPE. I've read as much as I could find on dealing with this material and am gambling the reward will prove worth the risk. As far as I can tell, it kinda comes down to the following major points:

TPE Pros

- Softer feel
- Significantly more affordable

TPE Cons

- Durability and repair questions
- Highly susceptible to stains and deformations

I tend to take very good care of my dolls, and am hoping I can navigate the worst problems. Many of the bodies and faces are gorgeous, and the price-points are certainly attractive. I feel a bit spoiled by my previous dolls, particularly my 4woods, which was off-the-charts high quality. Perhaps it's completely unfair to compare a $2800 doll to a $7000 doll. In any case, I'll try to let everyone know about my experiences comparing and contrasting her with my previous dolls once she arrives sometime over the next month or so.

Hi campion. Welcome to the WM Doll TPE part of TDF! Looking forward to finding out your opinion of TPE as you have high-end silicone girls. I'm becoming more curious about a silicone doll myself and am loosing hours just reading/viewing posts in the Private Island Beauty forums recently.

Thanks for the kind welcome! Well, one thing I will say about silicone dolls is that manufacturers are always going on about increased softness, but the reality doesn't always match the hype. Even my 4woods, which is purported to be one of the softest of silicone dolls and had soft face and stomach options, had an ass that had no give at all. Beautiful to look at, truly, but nothing remotely like the feel of the butt of a real woman. Some of the TPE videos you'll see someone doing a full butt grab and their fingers will sink deeply into the material. Nice! Even my RD2 with gel implants felt much too hard.

Now, I think Abyss may have finally hit on a winning idea by casting the hands and feet from harder silicone. This hopefully frees them to experiement with much softer formulas that would have been disastrous on feet and hands previously. Soft silicone *is possible*. The face and belly and general feel of the 4woods was excellent. Crazy kissable doll!

PiB, have admired them from a distance for a long time. Amazing-looking bodies and they finally have a good collection of non-weird faces to choose from. Thing is, before you drop that kind of money, you might want to carefully check out any softness claims!

Ha, hey, I hope so! I'd be shocked if she was even close to a RealDoll2, which was positively uncannily realistic (we should all thank Matt for the many arduous hours he must have put into testing and refining that design).

The 4woods by comparison wasn't exactly realistic, but the inserts felt like they'd been created by a team of dedicated Japanese engineers seeking a design optimized to wrest orgasms from men as quickly as technically possible. So less realistic, but still great.

Well here is one of the things I like about all the bigger TPE dolls with inserts - you can change the insert to suit your individual needs. Take me for example, I'v been using two different Fleshlights in mine and love it. The original insert was ok (actually you will get an updated one I think, they released it a few months ago) but with some simple steps I had a fiercly effective Fleshlight inserted in mine, and on the outside of the doll you cant see she has another insert. You can use just about any masturbation sleeve on the market as long as it is somewhat similar in size to the original. It is a world of inserts out there to try

Cool, but not quite, as I ordered the built-in model!

Why did I do it? Had heard a couple of stories about people tearing the TPE after inserting/removing inserts a number of times. Even with my silicone dolls this seemed to be starting to occur before I sold them. What I heard may be overblown, and I do realize built-ins have their own headaches. This likely isn't my last doll, however, and in future I'll definitely keep an eye out for exploring third-party inserts.

This new 158cm body does look truly gorgeous. I just hope she makes it through her long journey with minimal damage. Those thin boxes and packing materials seem like scant protection!

A warning I feel to give you, keep in mind TPE is quite more difficult to dry rather silicone. I can tell for direct experience. Silicone is practically waterproof and it dry very easy, while TPE requires an accurate drying because being a pourus material it acts as a "sponge".

Said that, enjoy her! We wait for a lot of pics

I'm an enthusiast for this hobby and I know how much it means to see pics and hear impressions before plunking down thousands of dollars. TPE dolls may be less expensive but are still a considerable investment. If I've learned anything though years of lurking around this place, and later after getting my first dolls, it's that there's no perfect doll. All come with compromises and tradeoffs. The trick is finding a set of tradeoffs you can live with.

Quite excited to see how these dolls compare, and I'll certainly let the forum know my impressions!
