Totally new to TPE. I have had a fair number of silicone dolls but I hear TPE is a different creature. My question is, will this doll possibly ever be made in silicone?

wmdolls only makes tpe atm. if it draws a good amount of attention/sales, who knows. one of the silicone manufacturers may follow suit. I'm sure they're watching closely.

I find silicone to be a better material because of health reasons, especially when I find photos like this in second post:

Had a Mecadoll long time ago and she have some leakage.

So thermoplastic elastomers are in more things than you realize. Look around your house. It's likely you may be eating out of TPE, storing food in it, drinking out of it. It's in those rubber cooking spoons, it's in those plastic storage containers you can microwave food in. Even in medical facilities, you can find it in non latex gloves, oxygen tubing. Now it comes in different mixtures like silicone so it's not all the same grade, some is solid while others are soft

Now silicone is used in body implants and etc due to durability but as far as malignancy goes, the evaluation of it is similar as on the FDA.gov

It's a shame, this doll could have been perfect if the boobs were an inch or two smaller and the waist 2-3 inches bigger. This coming from a guy who loves curvy big breasted dolls. I'm sorry, it's just too exaggerated here. Those boobs look like they will tear right off after a few months of use.
