I have actually read more than one thread lately, where people have used white bodystockings with darker clothes over them. The dark clothes stained right through the bodystocking and onto the skin, without staining the bodystocking at all. :| Be careful.
Thanks!

Just got my new WM 149 head :D
It´s the new one which is promoted with the new WM 170.
Unfortunately they forgot to send the wig with it, so I used one of Quorra´s wigs for the pictures.
The head doesn´t have an integrated tongue like my 2017-01 WM155 head (WM 46 head) has.
Actually I wanted just to buy some new eyes for a blue glow in the dark effect but then somehow the WM149 head without tongue landed in my shopping cart, too. :)
My 46 head has the number written on it with read marker. The 149 head has a molten number on it (on one of the pictures below).

With my endoscope camera I found out strange things again, just like with the sealing of the skeleton to the chamber for the insert (first page of this thread). 8O

There was some white TPE stuck deep in the orifice which is really hard to remove. Maybe someone thought it would be a dampener for extreme French kissing LOL
After taking this out, there was again something which looks like glued in with little success and having the two little holes in it just like at the skeleton of the doll.
The white behind is the skull which is on the pictures of my WM46 head, too.

Somehow this head looks like Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction and the WM46 head like Scarlett Johansson in Lost in Translation or Quorra in Tron Legacy.
I wonder which actors or person they used as model for their other WM heads.

If you have the possibility, please check your doll / head and share pictures for your own safety and for the safety of your doll

The head repair is now finished. :D
First I wanted to glue in a new "TPE ball" but then decided to use TPE paste.
The cavity has so many irregularities that its very hard to glue in a ball which is 100% sealed.
By the way, making a TPE ball is easy with a piece of TPE, a metal pipe and a blowtorch to heat up the pipe.

To prevent the cavity from damage I put a plastic pipe from a fleshlight in the mouth, then put in a bit solvent (preparer) and waited until the material started to dissolve (endoscope).
Then I put in about 2ml TPE paste and let it dry for several days.

All parts for the Quorra Tron kit arrived now, but I have little time for the doll at the moment so it will take some more weeks.

I bought some Staedtler Lumocolor markers to give the new head and nipples color again. I couldn´t find them on Ebay but then I found them for about 15€ on Amazon.
It really worked fine in my opinion. I´m not an art teacher but it looks better than no color at all. Thanks for the tip VonRubber
Just have to test how long it lasts when I apply babyoil.

Not telling others important stuff is lying, so I keep on updating this topic...

The Lumocolor lasts perfect on my doll even with intense white oil (Babyoil) or Vaseline treatment.
I'm working on an TPE insert which combines most of the advantages of an inbuilt an removable.
Barbydoll wrote:I ordered some TPE inserts for testing and made experiments with pure Xylol / Xylele as solvent.
I don't have pictures or a manual yet because I started just a few weeks ago.

My goal is to make a hybrid doll which combines the benefits from an inbuilt and a doll with replaceable insert, so to say a replaceable inbuilt doll.
For example the texture can start on the outside and the insert can protect the doll from damage (like some manufacturers do).

I will add this in my doll's topic later http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=80817
You can use solvents to smoothen the texture, too. It takes a week or longer depending what you did with the solvents until the solvents are gone from the material.

The material I casted in 3D printed casting molds was almost stretchable to ten times length until it got a tear and until now the casted insert works fine without tearing.
I should add I don't recommend doing these experiments on dolls and I don´t do this in my house. The little money the inserts cost is worth some testing for me to improve the doll.

It's even possible to do this with only one insert. The last picture shows a casting mold which is divisible and compensates the shrinkage of the TPE paste:
I found out for me a digital regulated soldering iron works better than any glue or paste I've tried, so at the moment I'm printing TPE negative molds and cast them into gypsum.
I will cast liquified TPE in the gypsum molds then.
As people flood me with work the final result of this and the Quorra kit should be finished until the end of this year.

Quorra finally got her Tron kit and her own picture thread:

Regarding TPE experiments I tried a lot of different methods.
I tried almost everything from remolding with Xylol, repairkits, digital temperature regulated soldering iron (second best in my opinion), glue, ....
Finally I got a rework station like this http://www.ebay.de/itm/700W-858D-SMD-Ho ... 2591359663
and it works fine for any kind of repair etc.

I 3D printed some molds and made some molds out of gypsum and casted some parts with hot TPE and dissolved TPE.
The problem with the dissolved TPE is that it takes weeks to get solid again.
The problem with the hot TPE taken from my inserts is that the material seems to be not the best quality.
I got different TPE samples from dolls which are claimed to be from WM, but all have different melting points and different hardness etc.

So finally I ended up in using the Fleshlight material which is much better to work with than with my TPE material.
There are almost no fumes when working with it and it's softer and more durable than the TPE I have.
I whish there was a doll out of this material...

Here an example of a sealed insert:
Insert.jpg
Insert.jpg (831.95 KiB) Viewed 5707 times
I can't really recommend experimenting with the TPE material as it is very toxic.
Gasmasks with filters are not 100% safe against all ingredients of the fumes.
Here I mentioned some of the ingredients of the fumes:
http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=86294

And who knows what else potentially toxic material they mix in their TPE 8O

Thanks for the endoscope pictures. I have a 170M on the way, and I'm thinking one of the first things to do is check the plug and make sure it is secure.

It's more than one year now since my last post.
A very quick review:
Quorra had some of the typical problems of Asian TPE dolls in the beginning BUT she is in almost the same condition as she was a year ago.

She also likes to use some toys of my Realdoll Gema. :)

If have the original "glue" but never would use it again.
It's rather a solvent but doesn't bond the material well like heat treatment.

I have a lot of equipment to do repairs with a heat gun and to design, 3D print and cast my own TPE parts and casting molds like inserts.
Quorra has about 15 different inserts. :haha4:
The stuff to do this cost more than 2k and even much more $ for wasted time; I rather wish Quorra was silicone and quality and size like my Realdoll.
But i still like her and know how to keep her in shape for many coming years.
If I would buy a new TPE doll, the first thing I would do is to repair her first. Tearing is often caused by design failure and I don't want to cut a new TPE doll open to redesign the skeleton so WM would rather have to design a silicone doll with a better skeleton to make me a new customer. But not the horror story the "Ultra real realistic sex doll" or whatever they called it for 4k was in the other thread; I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for it  ...
