So, will a 30C be a good place to start?
Case in point: My 165K is ideally a 26K (UK sizing). They don't make that size, so I get 28JJ which fits well (in my opinion.) I think I could possibly go as far as 32HH (26K --> 28JJ --> 30J --> 32HH) but worry it would be a bad fit at that point and am fairly certain the next step (34H) would fit poorly. Taking this to extreme, I think we can all agree a 56AA isn't going to work. Mathematically sound, but ridiculous.
Plus the more you differentiate from normal size, the less the 2" band to 1 cup rule applies. (56AA would be way too loose on a 165K; band size would probably be closer to the mid-forties with an AA cup.)
Smaller cup sizes and larger bands might create more cleavage, but you'd be better off instead buying bras with low sitting gores (the center panel between the cups.) This would keep the breasts together better and still provide nice, tight cleavage.
Smaller cups and larger bands should generate more jiggle than bigger cups with smaller bands though. This is effectively the 'bikini effect'.
