Re: WM165K Brie in "Star-Spangled"
I try, but I've still managed to damage her. Photography seems to put her in more compromising positions than our fun times.LJ69 wrote:she looks like she is brand new - you must take great care of her......
I recently got Indigo's kit to fix a hole in her groin area that started with the Love for Sale set when she was sitting on the arm of the chair, and this weekend when I got her down on one knee, I didn't realize there was a nailhead right where I put her and it scraped up her knee a bit. I photoshopped out the visible damage but if you zoom in on her right knee in some of the later pics in the set, you might pick up on it.
Though admittedly, I don't see how you other guys seem to break your dolls fingers and such all the time. Yes the 165K has the thicker finger wires but we've slept together most nights for the last nine months and she has yet to have a single break or punchthrough. (One of her pinkies came out of socket once, but I got it back in.) What I mean to say is that I'm not wearing kid gloves around her to keep her in pristine photography condition, but I'm obviously not so rough as to tear her up either. Just plain, common sense in where her hands are in bed or when I'm moving her around. I don't pamper her either. I wash her only where she needs it, oil only in the hinged areas, and only every few months, and powder when she gets tacky (usually after washing.) I think some of you guys overdo it with the maintenance routine.
However, I do keep a separate wig just for photography sessions. The wig she wears most of the time gets tangled up from general wear. I used to spend half the morning of shoot day washing, drying, and combing her wig - now I just dress her, do her makeup, pop the good wig on, add the glasses I want for that shoot, and she's ready to go.
She can be such a tease.PT9045 wrote:Love Brie's July 4th clothes selection as well as the way she slowly stripped...
It helps to have a calm day. This is our fourth time outside. October (Brie the Bunny) and January (Winter Daybreak) had no wind and her hair stayed put. April (Spring Fever part 2) and this last weekend were quite windy, and her hair shows it. I would have preferred a day with less wind and much less humidity, but was running out of days and worked it in. I wasn't sure I'd even get the full shoot in on Saturday or if I'd have to come back out Sunday to finish it. I wrapped up with only about 20 minutes to spare before the typical late afternoon summer storms came. If you look carefully, you'll notice the bright sun disappears by the time she starts stripping, and the shadows aren't as pronounced.Quorra wrote:Can't wait to get my outdoor shooting, too.
And still winning? The 165K has definately got the others beat as far as slimness and weight goes. It's tall enough you can get some hot clothes, while its breasts are just large enough that you can still find bras to fit (though selection is rather limited.) Also most of the others all have problems with aerolae, while the 165K's are perfect. And of course, those large nipples on the Full Figure are unmatched.Sexy Sex Doll wrote:wow WM165K, the one started the big boobs war !
I don't know if I've mentioned it, but I plan out a shoot in the days leading up to it. I don't work strictly from the plan, but it serves as a good guide to make sure I get a nice set of many different poses. Here's a behind-the-scenes sneak-peek of my crib sheet for this shoot. I typically do some stick drawings like this of poses I might want to try, or sometime a face circle with two eye circles to indicate how I want the eyes to be directed. This time I drew a hat and stool on some of them. Just very simple things to remind me. Not all of them make the cut. For example, I tested sitting her on my stool with legs raised and didn't feel comfortable balancing her that way. Some of the shots I had to drop becuase they were too hard to pull off (covering her nipples with the the star wands, which she was unable to hold well enough) or becuase the storm clouds were moving in and I needed to get some bare topless shots (starry ribbon covering nipples, items between breasts) Yes I know my handwriting here is atrocious. I can write more legibly than this for things I want others to read - I really wasn't anticipating anyone else ever seeing this.VonRubber wrote:I can imagine the planning and work involved to get such a result.
Usually it starts with something I find at the thirft or discount stores, like the Loves Me/Loves Me Not vest from the last shoot. This time it was the ribbons, which I found in January or February. When I came across the shoes in March, I knew I had the makings of an Independence Day set. Amazon usually has everything else I need at a decent price. Really only needed the bikini and shorts this time. Took me much longer to search for and acquire all the flowery bits for the spring shoot. I try to get all the clothes with a good week or two to spare before shoot day in case something doesn't work and I have to rethink the plan. You may have noticed I like props, too. I tend to get those last.VonRubber wrote:I'm sure you spent a lot of time as well to find the appropriate clothes.
So I did test this on myself, holding it about as far from my body as it would be to Brie, just to be sure it wouldn't damage her. I wasn't really sure I'd go for it until then. So I set it up, with Brie holding it about as far out as she can, and wrapped the wire around her fingers so she wouldn't drop it. What I didn't count on is that it works a bit like a rocket engine, and applied a downward and away force once lit, which tilted it slightly in her hands. I was so focused on taking photos and watching her face and arms for any damage that I completely neglected the hat. Its not like her hat was directly in the flame either - it was all the sparks shooting straight up into the hat's brim that actually burned it. It was a close call but thankfully she came through with only needing a wipe of her wrist to clear away some of the ash. I don't recommend repeating this stunt though.VonRubber wrote:But please, the next time, hire a stuntwoman for the firework photos, you almost burned Brie's beautiful face! I see her hat didn't made it 100%! That was close!
But whether blowing bubbles or playing with fireworks, Brie always does her own stunts.
It occured to me earlier today that I've now posted more than enough photos of Brie to have one of those daily calendar books. Imagine CF having a new Brie photo every day for a year. He might never be heard from again.CF wrote:I'm off to see Brie's photo album! See you all again in a few days!

You got me thinking: What if the Forum (or individual doll owners) created annual pin up calendars? If people are concerned about their privacy, I believe print on demand companies like Lulu.com would be an ideal platform.JunkGuy wrote:It occured to me earlier today that I've now posted more than enough photos of Brie to have one of those daily calendar books. A 2018 Brie calendar, with a different pin up for each month (or day)? I'm there!

Re: WM165K Brie in "Star-Spangled"
Thanks, JunkGuy for another great photoshoot. Brie looks more darling than ever. Pretty daring with the sparklers so close to her. Thank God only the hat got burned. I especially appreciate the Daisy Duke shorts. Our K-cup gals are known for their obvious assets, but their cute butt is overlooked. I'm sure an assman would think there is not much there, but I love my Rachel's slender, but curvy hips and butt cheeks and you really highlighted them with Brie. (As a "full figured" K-cup, Brie has a few extra inches to show off there, too!)JunkGuy wrote:
These shorts are short. Quite the effort to get them up over her asscheeks, but what they show off once they're on is amazing.
She really looks cute and sexy. Kudos for your creativity and thanks for sharing Brie with us.

I haven't seen much of Rachel lately, where have you and her been hiding?
