Very True, i'm still going to try this if the bolt are able to be taken off with out too much fuss to add the bottom piece of the cap.
Fond them on ebay

Great idea - but the weight density will cause any tights or socks to be punctured.

For bedtime bolts can be unscrewed, or screwed in further

Best wishes

The caps need to have a flattened bottom to spread out the pressure.
The decorative caps shown in Hangman's post won't help much as they are a domed shape.
In my experiments I found that a slightly conical shape with a flat bottom worked the best, especially at the heels as they won't get caught on shoes as easily.

The flat bottom needs to be on the floor, so those would not work unfortunately.

Yeah I was gonna say those would be as bad as the bolt heads them self's.

Once the caps are on you really don't need to take them off or unscrew the bolts.

Sorry to lower the tone but I feel a lot safer fooling around with my doll with a set to MFs feet screw head covers on.
I'm getting far less bruises and have no fear of chipping my teeth now

Also wanted to say be wary of silicone covers as tpe will degrade them over time.

I purchased a set of MF caps but found to my dismay, I couldn't use them. Unfortunately JYDolls use M8 instead of M6. I'm hanging on to them in case I get another doll from a different manufacturer.
