Lip colors and gloss

Post by TannerB1313 »

What can I put on WM TPE doll's lips to add more color and gloss to them without damage?

Will this Lip Color Palette work? Will it stay on and for how long?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DP ... WMQ5&psc=1

Thanks!

All make-up works from what I can tell. I've used several from cheap as cheap to a little expensive. Ironically, the cheapest I've used has been better than the one I paid 3 times the cost for!

I haven't used yours but it looks similar to the cheap one I got. Lasted about 2 weeks until I gave her a shower- It varies depending on what you do with your doll.
I apologise for any late responses to users trying to communicate with me, as a certain Mod has decided he doesn't like how I talked in a particular post then decided to restrict me so I can post nothing without his permission. If I am banned for good, then best wishes to those I, and Aran, have met. May your futures with your dolls be good ones.

As long as it's water-based, it should be safe for TPE. Just keep in mind that these products, though easy to clean off with makeup removal cream, can tint your doll's lips. They're quite thin, though, so it may take a couple of coats to get good results and they won't stand up to kissing- you'll be wearing most of it after that. Lip gloss should be used sparingly- if you apply too much it'll run down your doll's chin and pull some of the color along with it. Messy.

RLSD recommended this palette which also works pretty well:

I prefer lip creams from Atomic and Ciaté Of London because they're much thicker and have resilient pigments. Ciaté Of London also makes my favorite eye shadow and blush kits. They're not cheap, but I think they look fantastic and they stay where you put them.

Hadleigh is a fair-skinned WM163C/#188, Harper (#124) is a medium toned WM164D, Kendall is a fair-skinned 163C/#398. All via RLSD.

"...can tint your doll's lips"

I am actually looking to tint the lips, not allot, so I will apply lightly and slowly over a couple days.
