I chose BCD as my vendor because nearly everyone recommended him above all others and his testaments are longer than my Thesis Paper I wanted the best vendor for my first (and probably only)doll purchase and he surpassed my expectations!... ....I was extremely apprehensive at laying out a paycheck on something I couldn't see or touch in person, but Jeff made the process extremely smooth and stress free. The ONLY time I wouldn't suggest going through Jeff is if he can't get the doll you want...and he can get a hold of damn near all of them! He is extremely dedicated to getting you the lady you want exactly the way you want her. He might as well rename the company Bespoke Companion Dolls as far as I'm concerned.As a doll owner himself, he offered several insights and warnings when I was going through the purchasing process, and I found that extremely refreshing as many salespeople want to sell you a product regardless of the outcome. Jeff has a solid-gold reputation and now I know why!
Its a welcome feature, especially for the photographers. but the shoulders weren't really the skeletal problem for the shaggers among us.

My 'e' key is getting sticky, so now and thn words may look a bit odd.
This is a good feature for sure, but did they get rid of the gooseneck? If not, it is simply an added feature, that stepped around the worst problem in the skeleton! If they did get rid of the gooseneck, then they should feature that, as the upgrade, and the shrugging capability as an added feature along with the real upgrade!
hi Jeff...your project for vendor 101 this week is to determine if the upgrade will be retrofitted into older model designs for new orders and makes, or is it just available for the new WM lines.

It seems that the new doll(s) can shrug. Lovely. But how about an indication of their limitations, we can see up, but what about down, forwards, backwards? I'm willing to bet they will still rip their armpits if the arms are raised above the shoulder. So, shoulders up, arms high poses i.e. dressing, will still be off limits if you dont want to damage the doll. If they're not told, people will try.

I agree with TripleA . The gooseneck is a deal breaker for me. I've been zeroing in on the 6ye doll because they don't use the gooseneck, but a ball joint skeleton. Unfortunately, 6ye faces aren't as realistic looking as the WM faces, so I'm stuck waiting for WM to replace the gooseneck with something better. I really like the new WM 157cm slender body, but then there's that old gooseneck issue.

You can't be doing it right, I always put the arms straight up when dressing the dolls. Never had a problem. I would not store the doll with the arms up but it has certainly left no mark on the dolls I have when done only when dress or undressing. Arms forward, then up. Not straight up sideways (if that made any sense). This is not possible on the DS I have, but on the WMs.
Is there any other info on the updated skeleton? Other than the shoulder movement. Anyone in the know, know if there is an official announcement coming?
