My first time applying makeup

Post by jms033 »

This is my WM Doll with a #20 head. Sorry for the bad images, I need to get another camera, but this is my first time applying makeup to her. It seems the camera really picked up on the blush, as it really isn't that bright or outstanding. But I know I need some practicing and I can't wait to get my order from MannequinFan. The eyelashes seems the hardest to put on and make them look good. But, her name is Casey, and with a little more practice, she will look much better!

Hey jms033, I think that's pretty damn good - especially for a first try.

I'd also like to know what makeup you used. My factory makeup is all but gone so I'm trying to decide what to buy.

You're off to a great start. I think the toughest thing about makeup is just makings the first attempt. We all get scared about messing up, but makeup isn't permanent so dive right in. I know the first time I did Akina's lips she looked so much better.

The blush I used is an oil-free powder made by Pink Pool. I looked through Amazon and ordered makeup.

I used an oil free powder from Pink Pool that I got from Amazon. But Cover Girl is good to use too. Here's a nice video that will help us newbee's out some. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ih0U3bgW-JI

I contacted my supplier.
Although you may read about getting permanent make up on WM dolls by a vendor I will not name, it is NOT permanent.
It might last a few months longer.
You can lighten by using baby oil as well.
Best,
Jeff and Nyoko

Good tip Booty Call, thank you!! :glou: I have a bunch of powder puffs, and used one of those with a little baby oil on it, and lightened her blush up. Worked good! :)
