What is the purpose of the hollow breast ?
Is it to get a softer feeling or is it to be able to adjust the size ?
Or is it both ??????

From the description, it sounds like it is for both reasons.
With no air, the breasts are softer than a solid one.
With air, they become somewhat firmer, and gain in size.
Do I have that about right, Alex?

And while we are on the topic, have you tried injecting a saline solution or some other inert liquid to add weight as well as size?

The main reason is to reduce the weight, in addition, it allows customer to adjust their own preference for breast.

Maybe is just me that do not understand but I will be very pleased if anyone could sort out the hollow breast questions for me.

After reading these replies I took some time to analyze her breasts. This is what I gathered:

I strongly believe ultra soft silicone, gel, baby oil etc will not help much in bouncing effect since this hollow section is at base. This theory also taken into consideration of thickness and hardness (in comparison to injecting substance) of TPE layer. If TPE layer is as thin as balloon, surely you'll get what you want, ultra soft breast that bounce, jitter or flatten I might try to find out the diff when inject with gel as staycool64 mentioned.

So, what's the plus point of having hollow breast?
More realistic softness and sensation! Solid breast certainly rebounce when squeezed hard where hollow breast subside to your pressure. Level of recess and rebounce depends on internal pressure. When OR mentioned "without air", I believe they meant "zero pressure". At this point, breast still shapeup as great just like solid breast cos TPE thick layer forming its shape, sensation is not to desire - too soft. My doll as well as my friends dolls came with pretty high air-pressured breasts. Thus breast was hard, but, still softer than solid breast doll that I have (WM163). As time passed, over pressured air was forced to leak out after numerous squeezing during play to a "equilibrium point". Man! its soft and nice to play with at this point.

Will breast increase in size by injecting more air?
Yes, slightly. I don't think you can inflate to gigantic boob like balloon Same time you have to give away some degree of softness.

Whats good about hollow breast?
Softness. My personal opinion is to those adventurous player, provide more fun to explore possibility to change its shape and effect too.

Ultra soft silicone is not possible unless you wish to cut an opening at base. What I can think of is to inject low viscosity liquid. Another advantage of this liquid is to deter from seeping out of porous TPE. But it might also means the end of exploration

I know she has hollow breast and you can inject with air but what I would like to know is how large can you go safely. Can you show a picture with air injected into the breast please. I know Alex has done this recently and would like it if he could share this with us.

Late for work after some replies. But I wanted to ease your mind putting this pic. Cindia (centre) was injected days ago. I think I had overdone it, looks too big & weird with her small body It's huge but yet, still as soft. Safely range? god knows! presently no alarm at all.

As you know, from spec, she was supposed to be same size as Sara. All ladies are braless

I agreed, when undressed both, she doesn't look at all weird. Boobs merely slightly bigger than OR156.

From left to right
WM163 head 18#, WM145 head 20#, OR156 head "Sara"

All faces can be obtained with OR156 body. WM18# is too big for 145.

Asian manufacturers are not trying to ignore western market but having hard time to understand western needs. And also their sculptor do not understand verve romantic charm of western faces. Without guidance, he can easily make a western face that looks more like Chinese When I glance thro' Realdoll and PIB's faces, I had the same question too. With due respect, I don't find their faces that attractive from Asian guy's point of view! In my opinion western beauties would be like Bond's girl or Charlie's angels. Sexy, feminine but not that masculine teaser.

When asked to assist making Rose, I was puzzled too. Should I ups for Japanese feminine style or RD's masculine? So, I decided to blend in both This Rose's outline is rather stiff, and yet maintaining feminine appearance. Hope I did it right

My understand is OR will not create more new bodies for the time being but venture into more heads, half as western. So, you guys opinion is very valuable to Asian manufacturers like OR and WM.

Born in a former British colony country lead me to admire British and Nordic women with feminine romantic appearance. I too wish to assist OR, at least once more, to create a western face that I like. Input of some beautiful faces would be welcome, but please, not with smiling faces. I don't wish to intimate play with a laughing lady

On the hollow breast issue, now that I have my WM125cm, I better understand the concept of a hollow breast. Her breasts are supple but solid. They have a solid feel. I don't feel the mass being displaced when I squeeze them like I do in a real breast.

- Don´t try to understand, just act! Key word: Market research.
Do some Media check. Look at photos. Browse the web. Read some western Beauty Magazines...and so on...
If a manufacturer is serious about selling to western european customers he has to Watch and Listen!

They do indeed have a big piece of the western doll market, but it´s certainly not based on having the most Beautiful faces.

If the breasts really have that much thickness of TPE over the air chamber, then there should be a VERY natural feel to them!
I would agree that injecting liquid or gel into that space would do little to add to the jiggle or bounce effect. That mass is too close to the fulcrum to have enough moment arm, so air is the way to go for experimentation.
As I believe someone has already implied, if liquid was injected into a known porous substance like TPE (if it really IS porous, how does it hold air?), then it could possibly migrate to undesired areas.
I suppose you could go all NASCAR on this project and just inject pure gaseous nitrogen so the breasts wouldn't swell during enthusiastic play!
