Possibility of "furry" doll heads?

ORDOLL have been a manufacturer since 2005. Our factory covers over 20000 square meters with professional sculptors and designers, 20 technicians and 230 employees. We specialized in developing, designing, producing and selling fibreglass mannequins for display clothes and cyberskin mannequin for display under wear and breasts. We recently ventured into love dolls. Our first model is OR156 which is 156cm (inclusive of head) with the first Sara head. Designers are working hard to introduce more heads in the coming months. I love plush. It is interesting though to see if a furry doll could be done well with a silicone "base"
Honestly, I think this could be done beautifully with Plush (and some silicone for mouth / nose perhaps). It's just the volume of man-hours to carefully trim and groom the fur and get it to lay correctly on a face with fur that goes in multiple directions, as well as keeping a very firm shape possibly around a custom molded skull inside.

An anthro skull would be fun to 3d model and print if I ever get a 3d printer...

I swear, it won't look creepy at all...

Unfortunately It's difficult to find examples from fursuits that I like since the size of the heads is often too big, or kind of goofy looking, in order to fit a real human head inside.

Anyways on a small tangent... looking forward to some releases on VR to keep me distracted in the meantime:

Here's a good vid showing a animatronic dog assembly. Includes gluing on hair.

If you can find a good source for this type hair and pick up a heavily scar damaged Sil doll on the cheap...

I love practical effects and "making of" videos. Thanks for sharing that, pretty awesome!

I was still thinking about wrapping my old WM135 in medical gauze (Needed one roll and it was cheaper to just buy a bulk box with about 50 packages) before doing any glue, so that it can be removed more easily but also have something other than TPE to try and adhere to. Idk if I'll get to that or not. The doll's skeleton isn't exactly great anymore so I feel ok experimenting (first generation TPE, basically every joint is completely limp and loose now so the doll sits in storage).

I just don't know where to source fur from for gluing it on. I was thinking of just buying fur fabric by the yard, but then I either have to cut and fit the fabric, or cut the fur off manually (could get sloppy in terms of length) and gluing it in tufts.

In the ape picture back on page 1, is that a human in the mask? The eyes look very real.

I'm thinking about getting a fursuit for my dolls too but I have no experience/skills in creating a fursuit.

Doing it by myself would end in frustration and chaos and order a fursuit with head with a fursuit creator would cost xxxx €! Too expensive I think.

Maybe someone finds a cheaper solution how to get a zentai/bodystocking with fur on a doll....

BoyToy 2 Summer (2011) sold
Silicone Art body-D (2012) sold
Mini Love Doll (2013) sold
DS doll 132 (2014) sold
DS doll 145 plus (2015)
WM doll 155cm (2016)

I'll bet most here would turn into wild animals themselves after having sex with one of these dolls

Some of those posting here may not be aware that RLSD has an ongoing contest to "design" a custom head. The person who submits the image that gets the most votes gets a free head once they go into production. It's under discussion in this thread, too. It would probably be hard to get a fully fur-covered head made, but something like the images roninfiertze posted might be possible to make.

Also, Jeff at BCD has a design your own sex doll thread going. (Custom bodies, custom heads, and both are possible.) Up-front costs are significant, but if several people wanted similar heads (or bodies), the extra cost might be reasonable. Again, AFAIK actual (even fake) fur might be prohibitively expensive or impossible to get from the manufacturer, but maybe not a head with some animal-like features.

I commissioned Bernal to draw a head design, and he did! Check it out on the RLSD contest page. https://reallovesexdolls.com/contests/

I'm in contact with some fursuit creators.

The price for a fursuit is quite high. The best offering is at 1000.-€ for a sexy rainbow dash

Let's see where the journey goes.............

I dug the head by Bernal! looks very promising. (More of a cat guy myself, but Vixen is a sexy fox, literally.) Can't wait to is how far this goes as well.
