Underbed storage advice gratefully appreciated!
So I'm close to pulling the trigger on an ORDoll 156cm D cup and the only option I have is to keep her under my bed. I'm getting a Malm high bed frame and then will hide her on one side with storage drawers on the other side hiding her from view.
Unfortunately I'm unable to hide her 'in plain sight' or hang her in a wardrobe. I'd be really keen to see if anyone else does this and whether you have for example memory foam lining the floor? Could anyone tell me what the back to front measurement would be of a doll this size? Would she suffer from depressions in her butt or back etc.?
I'd be grateful for your advice!
Thanks

You would definitely want like 3cm of memory foam under her and not leave her lying on the hard floor as that would cause her butt to depress.

Thanks for the advice there Tomoe, I'll look to get at least 3cm of memory foam.Tomoe wrote:I think he's talking about this bed: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S89131267/ with drawers like these on one side http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00317546/ and the doll on the other.

Anyone else have advice / pictures of storage options?

Right now two dolls are stored there. There's space for one more.

Under my bed there is 1 large drawer, similar to the Ikea link, only made much stronger.
This drawer is so strong that you can safely store 100 kg.
Between the bedspon and the top of the drawer, I left a large opening for ventilation.
This works perfectly.
For privacy reasons, I only show the closed version of my bed

Since I own a WM-155 (the DDs would have touched the bed ) the only thing I had to do was exchanging the rolls that came with MALM with smaller ones.
It's just a matter of getting extra material to put the 2 drawers together.
Here's a close-up of how I connected them:
Since you can't use the middle wall (the drawers are constructed to be used separately) I added 4 of those L-shape stabilizers along the front panel.
Perfect solution

1) Get a regular bed with frame.
2) Ask the vendor how "thick" your doll is. That is, from the butt to the nipple.
3) get bed lifters that will give you enough clearance to get the doll under the bed.
4) Buy a Golf bag wheeled carrier (Dick's has them relatively cheaply).
5) Buy bed skirts. They are cheap
6) when necessary, put doll in carrier and carrier under bed.
7) The only people who will see under the bed are those looking to see under the bed. The golf club carrier will look like you just have storage.
Done and done.

Re: Underbed storage advice gratefully appreciated!
this would be good in those with room underneath to store stuff .
this bed should make the perfect bed to hide a doll for storage its enclosed which will also keep the doll from getting dusty .
the only bad side i can see is if a doll is heavy it may be harder to get doll out , and a person would have to be more careful .
thanks by the way for the link !
