Are you sure that doll is made of silicone or is it made of tpe? there is a big difference.

Ok, I don't wish to cause bad feelings but I have what I think is a legitimate question. Why are all the TPE dolls on this site labeled as "Silicone love dolls"? Shouldn't they be labeled TPE? These are the same dolls from WM Dolls aren't they?

This is a WM Dolls 100cm TPE, and by the look of photos 83/137 and 130/137 there appear to be big improvements in the 'privates' region of this doll. That's great news, but i must encourage vendors not to refer to these dolls as being made of silicone - they are made of TPE.

Silicone and TPE may appear to be similar, but in fact are two entirely different materials. Silicone is an RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanisation) two part rubber that sets via chemical reaction when the two parts are mixed together. TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) is a meltable soft plastic that must be heated to over 200 deg. celsius and poured into a mould and when cooled to room temperature, forms into a solid, rubber like material.
