Re: Doll Forever - photos of body details
1. Can you tell which model the following photo is of? I looked at your website, and didn't see it on a page for a specific model. It's not the most important question, I'm just curious.
2. What is up with the nipples in the following photo? Is that a specific design choice for a particular model, or is it an option for any model? If so, what do they call the option? "150% nipples"? "Set nipples on Stun"?
3. Color compatibility with other heads. The current D4E head selection looks limited, and there are heads from other manufacturers out there which are much more appealing to me. Have you noticed whether, say, certain Jinsan colors match D4E colors?

However, that model is currently revised and I don't know yet how the new version will look like.
There simply is no color compatibility with other heads, and probably never will be. Especially considering that Jinshan skin colors are not consistent, not even if you order a head and body at the same time from the same distributor. Please check out these posts:

The best approach for skin tone matching on TPE dolls is to either use (semi-permanent) makeup powder (makeup foundation), or (permanent) pigments, like they are developed over here: http://missatleur.com/dollcare.htm

Yeah, totally hot! Reminds me of a playmate named Angel Boris.Dollstudio wrote:@ZZZZ: The nipples are not customizable as they are part of the mold and not glued on afterwards. I think those pointy nipples are quite hot, especially on a smaller breasted doll like the D4E-165.
Thanks for the warning!Dollstudio wrote: However, that model is currently revised and I don't know yet how the new version will look like.
OK, I wasn't optimistic. The color situation is ridiculous. I will check out those posts. Thanks for the frank information, and the quick reply.Dollstudio wrote: There simply is no color compatibility with other heads, and probably never will be. I'll also check out the makeup, but it's one of the things I'm most dreading - second only to making physical repairs!
