PIB head (silicone) on Happy Doll body (fabric)
during a quick visit from mi6c, we tried to put a PIB silicone head onto a 160 cm Happy Doll fabric body:
The way PIB heads are designed, they (almost) fit onto the Happy Doll neck stub.
If there is demand, mi6c can create a simple adapter to make the head sit more tight and bridge a little gap at the end of the neck stub. The back of the PIB head should be covered by the wig.
Proportionally, the PIB head fits (IMHO) nicely, just the skin tones are a bit too off to work out of the box.

Re: PIB head (silicone) on Happy Doll body (fabric)
An innovative way to bring entry level pricing, silicone, light weight and a warm sleeping partner together!
However, when I attempt to view Happy Dolls on your sight I am directed to a "Please Login!...403 - Forbidden" page from the following URLs:

Any assistance is appreciated
Cheers,

Re: PIB head (silicone) on Happy Doll body (fabric)
4woods heads have a "real" connector (like almost any other doll, too) which prevents the heads from being adaptable to a Happy Doll fabric body with a neck stub. To make 4woods (or DS, or ZO, or WM…) heads adaptable, a (destructive) "deep mod" would be required. Meaning, the core of the head would have to be altered.Rari wrote:That is very cool! We have a couple of 4Woods heads that we would like to find bodies that might work and this might be one idea - if the heads would work out in the same way.
However, the PIB head can be adapted to an EX-lite as well. mi6c already has a prototype adapter for that

Damn, I was also in the process of adapting PiB's to DS.Dollstudio wrote: However, the PIB head can be adapted to an EX-lite as well. mi6c already has a prototype adapter for that

Yes! I did this and it works great. Get the bigger heads though and not the Spinner ones.Quater wrote:That is very interesting. Do you think a PIB head could fit on a Textile Doll as well?

One thing I forgot to add is that the skin tones won't much as well as with the Happy Dolls. Slightly tanned skin tone of TD might be the closest for the Cream Blush of PiB.Quater wrote:Thank you!dullahan wrote:Yes! I did this and it works great. Same issue with TD, excluding Ebony skin tone, which is darker than all PiB tones.Dollstudio wrote:According to http://www.privateislandbeauties.com/customization.do, PIB has three skin colors:
All these colors are too dark to match a Happy Doll. Though, not sure about Textile Dolls.

Yeah, I made the mistake of hoping PIB Bree (Spinner) would fit on a Paris Textiledoll.dullahan wrote:Yes! I did this and it works great. Get the bigger heads though and not the Spinner ones.Quater wrote:That is very interesting. Do you think a PIB head could fit on a Textile Doll as well?
I was able to get Textiledoll's new Mey head to fit on a Paris body, but it did require some modification of both parts. It mainly involved removing fluff neck cable from the body so her neck isn't too long. Adding some padding under her wig also helped to prevent her head from looking shrunken. I'd add pics but I've just started posting.
Also I found that Textiledoll's Caucasian skintone matched pretty well with the PIB creme tone.
