Silicone doll newbie

I've always wanted to have my own doll, some of you will remember the song "Paper doll" from the Mills Brothers: "I'm gonna buy a paper doll that I can call my own, a doll that other fellows cannot steal..."
I'm from Belgium and ever since I knew about the existence of silicone dolls, I was determined to have one...
But every newbie has to learn, especially in the secret and sometimes strange world of love dolls.
I've learned many sellers are not really taking care and very "willing" people are more than often ripped of, like myself or at least I was nearly ripped of by trying to order a full silicone doll for only $950...
Untill I discovered this great forum where I discovered the term "scam".
Becoming a wise man I've learned that real love dolls are very expensive.
Nevertheless I'm still dreaming about my beloved one and this community might be very helpfull with tips and trics.
I certainly prefer a full silicone doll +/-165cm or a 130cm one .
Also secondhand dolls are more than welcome.
I'm very into highheels (small wonder if you see my nickname) so my dreamdoll must be able to wear heels!
Very realistic feet are welcome as well!

Hi highheels, welcome to TDF

It seems you already discovered that there's a lot of info here, and if it's not there (or not easy to find) just ask, we are always willing to answer questions

About heels, to my knowledge all (fullsize) silicone dolls are able to wear them, but none to stand on them. For standing poses, some doll brands use a stand, so actually the doll is hanging on the stand. A few dolls are able to stand on their feet (with a third point to lean against) but not on high heels as the weight should be on the whole feet and not just on the toes.

Hi highheels, welcome to the forum. I have a DS doll, she can stand on her own feet but needs flat shoes otherwise her feel will get damaged. Sitting, wearing highheels isn´t a problem.
You´ll find the right one, I´m sure.

This forum is the Land of Milk and Honey! Very interesting AND good to know I'm not the only one who cannot resist the appearance of a beautifull doll in heels! I already have a gorgeous pair of silicone feet and if you don't mind I will post a few pics in your thread later on.

Thanks Harem for speaking so highly of my feet, unfortunately despite the fact I only have one pair of low heeled shoes there isn't a single photo in my collection of me actually wearing my heels.

GRRRR I need to throw a couple of them at K and force him to take a picture.

Anyway welcome to the forum highheels.

I'll try and get some heeled photos for you at some point.

great intro and I wish you a happy doll hunting time here. Silicone dolls are expensive but it's an investment your surely never regret, it's an amazing hobby. Of course there're sometimes good deals on the TDF Sales Items so don't miss to take a look.

Hint for newbies: the dolls are not a problem, it's their wardrobe

Welcome to the forum!! I too am a big fan of high heels... you won't catch my dolls wearing normal shoes, their closet is filled with high heels only.

As others have said, when you see a doll "standing" wearing high heels, she's very likely suspended somehow, either using a stand or a chain, or something, which often gets Photoshopped out of the picture.

Thanks for making me welcome. Most people think it's weird to have a doll. You should know what's on their minds...
If they could have one, they certainly do. Everybody has his own reason to be involved with dolls.
Although I regard myself as a "normal" person with "normal" human desires, getting a real life girl is not that easy nowadays.
After a long and fruitfull relationship that sadly ended up last year, for reasons I couldn't help, I decided to live with more ease of mind.
The reason of being here on this forum is not "voyeurism".
A doll can give me all I want and can be therapeutic.

Great that you found the forum, and you'll be amused at how many different sets of feet there are in the land of dolls. You have several choices... Best luck in your search, and think lots about what else you want in a doll, as each manufacturer offers something different. Ask lots of questions.
