Hello all,

I've been here for only a week but I found out about this website after my interest in dolls popped up. At first I was interested in ball jointed dolls. The large ones (70cm) but then that wasn't enough and thought what if it is possible to get a realistic life sized doll. I thought stuff like this only existed in Japan but then I found this site and found out about realdoll and other manufacturers and that was when I became really interested. Another note, is I am not a male so I know finding a male doll is not as easy as males have it when finding a female doll. And I am probably the only female on here that is not bothered by dolls. Oh well. The male dolls that are already out there, I don't really like but that is ok. I like the option of custom made dolls and making the doll look whatever way I want. I don't mind the price increase and the time increase. I am strange in that even though I am female, I like the thought of wanting to become a dominant male and pegging away at male dolls. Call it femdom or whatever I don't care. I don't have a doll yet but I do plan on in the future (I want to get the student debt out of the way so I have more money coming towards something I want). That leaves me with a lot of time to save up and do more research.

You're actually far from being the only woman here. Check out the various manufacturers who have their own forums on the site; perhaps you could offer them suggestions for male dolls that you would like to see, and influence their future designs/product lines.

There are other women who post here and who own dolls. I'm a man myself, but I've seen women chime in on similar threads, so perhaps some will introduce themselves to you.

In addition to the (limited) selection of standard male bodies and heads, there are custom-build options from several vendors -- you provide a drawing or photo and the vendor/manufacturer will make something that matches. These options are pricey (IIRC, it's about $3,000 more than a "stock" model, at least for a TPE doll body), but if you're really motivated, it might be worthwhile. Also, if you can find somebody else who wants something similar to what you do, you could split the extra cost between you. There are at least one or two recent threads about such custom-build options. Although most of the interest expressed has been for female dolls, I'm sure you could get one done as a male.

Hello! I'm a newbie and female as well . The nice thing is with today's technology the male dolls will improve with time! They have come such a long way with the female dolls . Welcome

I am very willing to spend the extra cost for custom build options.

Several vendors have announced that they can do this. Real Love Sex Dolls (RLSD) and Booty Call Dolls (BCD) spring to mind in this regard, but I seem to recall seeing something about this through at least one other vendor. It's a relatively obscure option so you may need to e-mail or call to even get a price estimate; and of course there will be back and forth when designing the product. (Note that I've never bought a doll with this degree of customization; I just noticed the option is available.)
