Just recently purchased a doll and found TDF to be of great help. My purchase experience hasn't been all good, at least not yet. I would like to share my experience as so many others have. It all began with stumbling upon a doll on eBay. That's the first clue of the 'bad'. But there is a silver lining so I need to get my five posts in to really share my total experience. I will leave with I have a new doll on order from a TDF vendor and all is good in the world. More to come.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I look forward to learning more about the caring and attention of a doll on here and from my doll personally. Have owned a couple UR3 torsos, but this is my first full bodied doll. I am anxiously awaiting arrival of a 156cm H cup.

Where should I start my thread about my eBay scam, and finally, give kudos to the maker for that experience? Separately of course with link to each.

I have been fighting the corner of reputable vendors and manufacturers and some people say that they're happy to gamble on finding a cheap deal from other sources.

Thank you all for your interest. I was well aware of the RealDolls (HBO special) but at $4k and up was just beyond my commitment level. I say that not having seen such a doll in person, maybe that would change. Eitherway, I really hadn't considered entering the doll lifestyle. But as I said, saw what appeared to be a great deal on eBay. Now I am an avid online shopper and eBay has never let me down. But not so in the doll world. I purchased a doll and returned it the day after I received it, "not as described". Refund pending and i need to check on it. More to come folks.

Yeah, lesson learned...we often strongly advise against eBay shopping for dolls. Too many bad cases and too much risk.

You can post in the vendor's forum page or in 'Dolls in general'

Thanks for suggestion. Return doll was received so lets see if seller waits full 6 business days to refund? Has not delayed my new girl, she has shipped, vendor provided pre-ship photos, now the wait game. Maybe it will be a case of "in with the new and out with the old" on the same day next week. Funny thing; I care more about receiving new friend than I do the refund!
