I have no idea where on the forum to ask this, so might as well ask it here and hopefully someone sees it and answers

For dolls, hhas anyone tried pubic hair options? Do they stay on very well? My only experience with a toy with pubes was one of those small masturbator one and I remember even after a few uses, the pubes were getting patchy and started to shed. In the end I resorted to pulling off all the remaining hair cause they were coming off anyway... Do dolls have that issue? For my next doll I'm thinking a more natural look below but considering how often they lose their finger nails, I'm kinda worried that the pubes will do the same lol.

Hey private, not sure how much you intend to use alcohol for cleaning, but according to Indigo20 repeated use will dry out the TPE and cause it to become brittle. I don't use alcohol anymore at all, just hot soapy water.

I have no experience about purchases of the pubic hair option.
However, if you want to experiment with pubic hair, Samurai had a post for non-permanent pubic hair using Mohair wool (yarn) and pva glue - Pubic Hair & Eyelids Mods.
I remember it because it's on my list of things to try one day.

Yeah I saw that post about the pubic hair mod, but being totally blind, I am a bit leary about messing with glue on a doll. Don't get me wrong, I know how to glue things, but without looking, you tend to smear alot in places you don't wish to cause you need to use your fingers as guides. Maybe I'll try it on a cheaper masturbator type toy first to make sure I don't botch it too badly lol.

To Seattle Slew:
Mostly I'll be just resorting to the alcohol when I think the cavities need a total cleaning. For the most part it will still be soap and water. I do wonder though, would the drying out still happen if one oil the doll regularly?

Well, my guess is that alcohol would still dry out the rubber, though the oil might slow the process down. How much slower, I don't have a clue. If you're mostly using soapy water, and occasional alcohol, it should be fine.

Just spent our second weekend together. Sex just gets better the more I get used to and know her- yes, as it is the case in any kind of sexual relationship. Today I'll be giving her her first oil and powder treatment before letting her rest till our next weekend together. I am sorry to say however, she has picked up a couple of abrasions. One scuff mark on the inner/right groin area- not sure how that happened, maybe she wasn't meant to do the split... So far the part I hate the most is when I have to wrestle her back into her storage box. Both because it means I won't see/feel her again till maybe next weekend, but also because it's a job and a half on its own to pick her up, line her up with the foam paddings and lower her carefully into the box- she's not all that heavy, but a bit...unwieldy when adjusting angles rofl. testing the water in this case is alot of fun. I kinda wish there's a cheaper way for newbs to "test the water," not that I regret buying a doll, but if I have to do it over again I'd go for a full size model. Probably still will eventually, but then I got to worry about what to do with Riza here.
