There have been a couple of threads where this has been discussed at length. It's caused by the fact that most cameras store photos in one orientation or the other (landscape or portrait), along with a tag to tell viewing software whether or not to rotate it (and if so, by how much). This usually works, but for whatever reason, browsers don't do this when the photo is embedded in a forum thread. If you want to avoid the problem, most image-editing software will auto-rotate the image. Saving it will then leave it properly oriented. This also usually gives you the option to remove EXIF metadata, which sometimes includes GPS data you might not want to make public. (I didn't see that in your photo's metadata, though.)
