I thought Yukie was dead! The heavy plaster ceiling collapsed! I found her under the rubble and pulled her out. I got her debris and insulation covered clothing off and checked her over. luckily, she only has two indents in her thighs. She's was in shock and so was I. Luckily we moved into a much nicer home. She's still in her box and I'm setting up a spot in the closet for her to hide while I'm at work. We are living with a female friend that asked me to move in and pay her rent. It's a really nice townhome. I'll post picture's of her soon.

What the f**k happened? Poor Yukie and poor you!

Man, you've had some shit happened this year! I hope things turn out better for you both very soon! Sounds like you have a really good friend there, I hope she likes Yukie!

The roof was leaking last summer. They fixed it but the heating pipes run through the plaster in the ceiling. It dried out and got brittle. Then down it came. Lucky I was at work when it happened. I lost two guitars and a big screen tv. Now I'm fighting with the insurance company. My heart sank when I managed to get the door open. I thought poor Yukie was dead. She's a tuff girl, good thing she's got a hard head.

Shit! I do hope there's a happy outcome for you in all of this. It's probably a good thing you don't have to claim Yukie on the insurance too! I do hope she's ok with no lasting damage.

If you can bear it, give us an update as things progress - it might help keep your mind off it! Perhaps you ought to make this another thread as it detracts from her wonderful photo sessions she does. You could ask the mods to split this last section off into another thread if you like!

Thank you friends. We are doing much better. Yukie is sitting next to me watching a movie. She's cleaned up better and has new clothes on. I plan on giving her a shower soon and a fresh powdering. I'll have new pictures probably tomorrow. I'd upload them from my phone, but it doesn't seem to work with this site.

I was able to rescue all of Yukie's stuff. Luckily it was in her own dresser and the drawers were closed.

I'm happy to see that Yukie and you are doing well. It is sad that you lost your guitars and a Television, but losing Yukie would have been disastrous. I didn't expect to see such news, even though it's been a while since I checked.
