It's three weeks ago I performed a repair on my doll.
I think I can now tell you that this operation has remained successful until today.
Only the injured foot, scars remained.

To clarify, the two photos above are from after the repair

Unfortunately my doll has again injuries sustained during my recent photo shoots, this time two fingers on her other hand.
My conclusion is that the weak points of sanhui dolls are especially the fingers

Sorry to hear that mate! Lucy and Lissie are such lovely ladies each with their own character. Deesman found some interesting info about hands and fingers in this thread which might help.

Thank you hollows + Fentiman, she is indeed very happy about her latest purchases.
I even think that we have become even more in love with each other, and our love grown still.
Had someone told me that a few months ago, I would have declared him a fool.
But see, here I am now speechless and puzzled what happened to me.

Cool GIF by the way! If you look at the size in PhotoScape you can adjust that too if you want. Have a play with just a few photos and alter the time gap as well.

As far as a tripod is concerned, if you really want one go for a max height of at least 1.5m or you'll have a back ache! I got one from my youngest daughter for Christmas! It's a Velbon EF-44 recommended by a good local to UK photoshop and seems to be really sturdy at all heights. Read the negative reviews if you're going for a different one! You get an idea whether the 'clamps' hold well or not etc.

You don't have to use a tripod of course. All you need is a very still surface and an anti slip mat or even use gaffer tape or something to hold the camera still when you press the button! I haven't worked out how to do a remote shoot yet.......we're all still learning and I'm only on the bottom rung of the ladder!
