If you ordered from a vendor try contacting them and see if they have better luck getting a response from sanhui.

George has been having problems with my Sanhui order. I think he said they're having some staff turnover. You can see they haven't posted anything on TDF in quite a while.

One question.

If you you "twist" the thigh (e.g. having 90° between shin and thigh and rotating the leg outwards), where exactly does it rotate? At the hip or at the knee?
Same with upper arm, shoulder or elbow?
Where exactly are those "twist" motions located?

On my SH165 the twist rotation joints( in-axis rotation) that allow to move the lower limbs inward/outward are located directly above the respective hinge joints, that is, just above the elbow and knee.

Kind regards.

Short Update:
April 15/17: Sanhui responded asking for a video of the problem.
April 16/17: Sent video showing the extremely loose joins.
April 28/17: Haven't received a response yet, sent second message to confirm if my first one was received.
Present: Still waiting on a response from Sanhui.

Not surprised. Remember, the doll is amazing for the price. That said its going to come with limitations. The quality of the skeleton is the most obvious. Customer service is the one that is not so obvious.

No answer is their answer... ? And Now Sanhui is evidently losing several repeat customers. That’s a shame.

My Sanhui 145 has loosened some. The right leg is still nice and tight. the left is very loose where thigh meets hip. knees and elbows are good and the arms and ankles. her torso swivel is a bit loose as well. Had her about a year…..

I know this is slightly different but I had two broken DS minis and received parts to repair them. DS made a video of how to replace bits of the skeleton and I was really surprised they just used ordinary spanners to tighten the joints! For such a delicate skeleton and all the research done before building a new doll I would have expected torque wrenches to be used! Now, if the skeleton builders are only using spanners it's down to each individual tightening these joints as to how they turn out! That may explain the difference although, as said above, the friction between two metals can easily account for differences in tightness occurring as well!

What does seem ludicrous is to have a joint that can't actually be retrospectively tightened!

Cheers, Hollows.
