First of I haven’t properly introduced myself so to start I am Dondipa I have been lurking here for about 4 months. I came to this site because I had seen a doll I liked but didn’t really trust it and after some contact with the manufacturer found the suspicion to be probably right. While browsing I also saw the Sanhui dolls and fell in love with them so after opening a topic asking for some advice I decided to go for a Sanhui beauty.
To be exact the 165+ tanned skin body with the Severine face which I adore.
Now first of sorry for the long read before the pictures but I really wanted to tell the whole story.
I ordered my doll through the Doll house because I really wanted a European vendor so I would not have to hassle with any customs issues. After a few weeks Anjelica 1.0 arrived and she looked so beautiful.

As it was the weekend it took a bit of time but he got in contact and there would be no problem he would arrange a new body to be shipped so we could do a swap.
A couple of weeks went by and I got the relieving email that the replacement body had arrived so we arranged shipment and 2 days later UPS was at my door with the second big box and to pick up the first.
When I opened the box I became a bit sad as to my surprise she was very pale for a tanned beauty as this was the pink skinned doll. I immediately contacted Phil again with a picture of the pink body and the tanned face I still had as we only swapped the body.
He got back to me with a thousand apologies something went wrong in the communication and a mistake was made. He gave me the option to get either my money back or that he would fix it. As Phil had clear and honest communication so far I agreed for him to fix it. He arranged for doll number 3 with …. An extra head as compensation for the whole thing.
A couple of weeks have passed again and he contacted me she was going to be shipped and send a picture so I could see she was tanned. When I saw the picture I was not 100% sure it was regular tanned but I thought they should know what they are doing so I said ship it. After a week he contacted me to arrange the final passage to me and again UPS was at the doorstep with a big package.
When I opened the package and took a look at her and instantly saw that it wasn’t the tanned body. This was the Olive color and after comparing it to the tanned face which was still the only thing I had to look at the difference was indeed still very big.
I contacted Phil again and told him by now I was starting to get in tears as the color was not even near what it should be. This time it did take me some more convincing as he wasn’t aware of the Olive colored Body. After some investigation he also found to be misled by his distributor and again offered to either reimburse me for the doll and the days off I had to take or ………. Fix it.
As he had still kept every promise he made I decided to give him a last change so again he ordered a body and the second face and after a couple of weeks he contacted me. Got some comparison pictures before she was shipped and the color looked a lot better. When she arrived in the UK he tooks a picture to compare it with the original body. There was still some difference in color but I understand that no batch will exactly be the same. So I asked him to take a picture of the new face on the old body which he did and actually several other combination too so I could really see the difference and I decided to go for it. Just over an hour ago she arrived again.

Then she got into something to wear as she did feel a bit uncomfortable introducing herself without any clothes. Now honestly I didn’t mind her being naked but hey I am a guy.

If i would have to buy a doll again (which i am not planning anytime soon) i would not hesitate to contact Phil again.
Also I don’t think Sanhui has anything to do with this as I understand there was a third party in between where it all failed.
What I do think is that the Sanhui sculptors are artists in what they do as Anjelica is in my opinion a real piece of art. If you stare at her for a few seconds she really comes to life and you can’t help falling in love with her. I hope you enjoy this read and introduction to her and I will do my best to convince her to take some more pictures.
