I have had Sanhui 125cm and her neck is not moveable. Only head was moveable by fastenig bolt.
Have all Sanhui dolls this same problem?
I have had VM 125cm too and her neck was perfectly moveable.
i have a sanhui 165 and her head bends (forward/back and sideways) at the base of her head where the bolt screws on. there no hinge at the base of her neck though. i hope sanhui updates there skeleton design soon for this extra movement.
I have not 125cm anymore. I asked because I think about 145cm. I must sure this neck case before it.

"It's worth noting here that it is the hinge at the neck bolt that allows the head to tilt up and down this way. It seems the hinge is located near where the vocal chords would be. It seems that the secondary hinge at the base of the neck - where it meets the shoulders - does not bend in this same direction to aid in the up/down motion of the head... resulting in the visibility of the separation/gaps. Perhaps a future model by Sanhui can introduce a forward/back movement to this hinge?"
yup! the 125 has this gooseneck stuff for most joints, sadly.
and the neckjoint looks like shown in the post of APN12 on my 145 too. not really well done but it is as it is and the rest of these dolls looks just sooo wonderful
even after realizing these shortcommings i still enjoy my sh165. but the moment they improve the neck joint... oh i'll be among the first to buy indeed! sanhui still tends to beat other manufacturers in regards to price and i like their face design.
On my newer 165+, the neck when bent like that does not do that type of weird neck joint protrusion. I just went to check, and her neck looks close to normal.
