Hollow spots on hips?

Post by mossy500 »

I found something strange with my sanhui 165, she has hollow spots in her hips. Both near the bottom of her butt, the skin thins out and when pressed you can feel it stick to the skeleton then spring back out again. I don't have sex with my dolls so I don't spend much time handling the hips And just noticed the spots now. Is this normal for the 165+?

Really, that's interesting. Guess the skeleton and foam leave pockets in the hips/lower butt for added flexibility or something. Feels like I learn something new about my doll every day.

My doll is from mid 2016
I do not know when she was made because she was actually made for someone else who canceled his order
All I know is that she owned me since 09/12/2016 and ordered on 08/24/2016
I hope for you that Sanhui will answer because I have been unable to get answers to my questions for a few months

are they still not answering emails? figure they would have gotten all that squared away by now. if i don't get anything today i will contact my original vendor and see if they can get a answer from sanhui about the doll.

hmmm, tried to send a email and got a notifications saying it could not be delivered. not sure if their email is even up and running.

so i just got a email back from sanhui, guess one of the ones i sent got through. they said to talk to my vendor, so i am guessing that hollow spots in the hips are not supposed to be there... interesting who we both have the same spots but your doll is from 2016.

Now I'm curious whether this is actually a problem in the long run

the issue i see is that the hollow area will be more delicate, a puncture of the skin will be harder to repair without first filling in the empty space. as long as you are careful though i dont see it being a major problem, you have lived with it since 2016, and i have unknowingly lived with it for 3 months i just got the email from my vendor, sanhui will be shipping repair materials and instructions to me so i can fill the spots.

Now I have even thought about it, I must ask the following question mossy500
Can you just explain what you feel at this so-called hollow place?
I ask this question because I am beginning to doubt if there is a different description for what I experience.
With my doll, I have several places on my doll, like on her back and both upper legs.
It feels like the outer layer is loose.
Is this the description that fits your doll?

here is the vid i took for my vendor, check it out and see if it is simmiler to what you have.

as you can see there is a clear difference between the hollow area and a solid area, the skin is alot easier to push in, and you can hear it stick to something on the inside. the solid are puts up alot more resistance and there is no sound. i do not have a spot on the back, only both hips.

I can not see it with 100% certainty, but I think this is indeed the same.
I'm going to await what the solution will be to solve this problem.
Please give instructions if you are so far.
