judging by the patterns and the design i would have to say it is Asian inspired...probably around 600AD...

the colours make me think that it is regal..maybe a queen

and the broad oversized arms and the red dress are something that would have been from the Sui Dynasty......no the tang Dynasty

definitely an imitation of a tang dynasty queens attire

well that's my guess anyway.

You know Sui and Tang dynasty! That is ancient dynasty of china.
Now this sanhui doll aped the fashion of a queen of ancient china..great job!
