Congrats Rtech, She looks great and I am so pleased YL could deliver the dolly you ordered, she looks lovely, so naming time soon!

As a tip, I smear a coating of Vaseline (light coating) around the top of the neck before putting on the head, this works it way in nicely, and also prevents tpe bunching up when you rotate the head on. You can also use Vaseline in the thread and around the neck mount as well to help preserve and lubricate the steel.

Also, to avoid any front compression, you can use the foam packing blocks to support her and keep her squashy parts of the deck, when using the sponge bath for her back, or you can sponge bath her standing.

As for the gloves...LOL..I always thought they were for the dolly, to help minimise hand damage to the dolly, as there no way they would ever fit my baseball mit hands

I liked the video reviews, I should do one one day, to save tonnes of typing, but it might end up looking like another Hellboy music video with Lily as the director

Funny, back when i was a strip club DJ I used to play "welcome home" by Coheed and Cambria for one of my girls that could do some MAD pole tricks (NO! NOT THOSE TYPES OF POLES!)
So, any time I hear that song it immediately takes me back to some of the jaw dropping performances she would do.

Allright, bad news, again
When Jeff ordered this doll he intentionally specified hinged neck.
Upon further looking this YL-170 over I decided to make damn sure that this neck was hinged. Even though I knew for a fact that this doll was gooseneck, I still needed to prove it.

That is me pulling the neck TPE away from the skeleton and you can CLEARLY see the bumps of the gooseneck.

Now evidently WM has gone WAY WAY back to something they KNOW is terrible. This gooseneck has two steel wires running through the center to provide some ability to hold a pose.

The part that has me mad about this is that we ordered hinged, not gooseneck.

I am requesting that YL make this right and make me a brand new doll with a hinged neck like we ordered.

Oh dear..it is happening again.

OK...the hinged neck is a thing of the past with the two main factories and affiliate factories, you now got the upgraded GN as the baseline default that as RTECH shows in his video works better than before.

This is NOT a good design...

I know it can be fixed. That is not the point. Getting what I ordered is the point. At no time is it okay to order one thing and for the factory to decide it will do something else with NO communication at all.

It is like you ordering a car with a V8 in it. But when you get the car you find it has a lawn mower engine in it because the factory decided to put it in there for some reason.
