Re: Ask the docs.
There is a happy ending . What I've learned is patience and time. After spending some time with my LY 148 and not moving her around (carrying her), she finally "opened up" to me. The lesson here is that you shouldn't expect to "score" on your first date. You will be worn out from setting her up, and learning how to carry her. She will also be more stiff in her leg movements (or lack there of), which will loosen over time. Hey, it's only been a couple of days since she arrived.
So maybe she felt sorry for me, or that I didn't have to "carry her" moments before my "date" this time. Being more relaxed (I was trying to hard to consummate) and her being more relaxed did the trick. She opened fully and behold....the entry got bigger. And I didn't even have to buy her a drink (though I did waste a perfectly good shot of viagra on my first failed attempt). So no surgery or stretching necessary. Whew!!!

Jeff suggested that I ask you this. Do you know how to make wigs feel softer and untangled? Can you just wash them with shampoo and conditioner for human hair?
Thanks,
Marcos
Re: Ask the docs.
Another tip is to turn the wig cap inside out and clutch it in your fist while brushing it out( these keeps some hair from falling out)

Re: Ask the docs.
What process would you suggest to remove eyelashes from a TPE doll? When people get MF eyelids for a doll already made, this is a vital step.
Love,
Nyoko

Re: Ask the docs.
I clean the area where the eyelashes would go with 50% iso rubbing alcohol, clean the edge of the lash with acetoneb wait 15 minutes apply silicone to the eyelid with a toothpick wipe of said toothpick and gently press the eyelash in place. Have the eyes installed for this bit

Re: Ask the docs.
Thank you samara78 and Jeff of Booty Call Dolls, this worked great!samara78 wrote:Hi there Nyoko. I like to apply some rubbing alcohol soaked into a pad place just above and on the eyelash let set for a bit then look for a loose end. You can then apply some baby oil and gently lift the eyelash with a tweezer repeat ech step as needed. Do not rush to avoid damaging your doll.
Here is the reason I wanted to remove them.
I received my eyelids with lashes from MannequinFan and installing them was very easy.
I had to remove the top eyelashes first. I did this by applying baby oil to the lash and gently lifting it off.
You then simply open her eye socket a little with one hand and slid the eyelid in with the other.
Here is Kim with her new eyelids installed looking wide awake.
Here she is now with them closed with her sleeping look.
They come with the bottom eyelid as well which I did not use as I like her like this.
They open and close very easy using a cotton swap or tooth pick.
I ordered two sets so I can close the eyes on her open eye Viola head as well without switching out the heads.
Thanks to Doc Brown for letting me know about this and thanks to MannequinFan for making them!

Re: Ask the docs.
Thanks so much for posting the info - it was very helpful!
And a very special thanks to Doctor Samara for the removal instructions!
I posted a thread on the subject earlier and didn't realize it had already been brought up here.
Thanks Jeff for doing that!
