OMG eyebrows hack(>.<)

Post by nogamenolife »

im not sure if its just me that has problems doing eyebrows :shakefist: But for me they are such a pain.

So i found a easy way to at least get them close to looking even.... kinda.

first of course you will need a clean face, must shave those eyebrows

Image

so i quickly did one when no one was looking

Image

i use eye shadow since its a lot cheaper than those eyebrow makeups. Im not sure if it lasts longer or not, but hell i have a lot.
so what i do is get a knife muhahaha. and line her inside or her eye with the out side of her nose and make a mark like so.
yes use the blunt side....

Image

then using the BLUNT side of the knife line the outside of the nose to the middle of the pupil and make another line like this

Image

then using the knife once more line the knife from the outside of the nose to the outside of the eye, like so

Image

once you have completed these tasks... then you want to grab a spoon lol.....

Image

now starting at the line closest to the nose draw a line along the top of the spoon ending at the last line you drew with the knife. this will give you a nice line to do your eyebrow.if you want a more fancy eyebrow you can stop at the middle line and change up the spoon to a different angle. then you will want to color in the thickness you want. the middle line can also be used to let you know when to start tapering the eyebrow.

Image

i really hope this helps you out as it did me.
If you have any better ideas than this please let me know. I use to spend hours trying to get Ariana's eyebrows right and still fail at doing them.
:glou:
And yes they are still a bit crooked but not as bad as what i use to do. :haha4:

if all else fails you can use false eyebrows, which im actually might buy a pair and see how they go

Hey nogame, great tutorial!
I see you've done your homework on how to construct them.

Eye shadow does indeed work nicely for doing eyebrows.
What I used for my TPE head are these Ardell eyebrow stencils...

I also used some acrylic paint over the eye shadow to create a hair texture.

Those stencils look like a great idea. I change Ariana's eyebrow color a lot. And that looks easy to use. I did try making some stencils once with now luck lol.

What Karrot says. I rarely have a chance to work makeup, so this is very helpful.

Thank you, MF. I'll look for those too, but Nogame's idea will still be very helpful at placing stencils.
笑. It's good for you.

So I ordered these.

But they don't really work to well on smaller faces. I eventually had to wrap them around her head on a angle. Then did one at a time. If you try to do both at the same time the eyebrow ends up to high on the end. I did start taking photos but it pissed me off to much so I stopped. Until I could work it out.

Also found these. Might have to try them out.
