I decided to purchase a doll roughly 72 hours ago, and I must say, it keeps getting better and better. A magnetic head adapter? Thank you for reaching out to me Jeff! I agree. I purchased my lady from Jeff and two additional heads. I really didn't change the heads because I was afraid of hurting the TPE by unscrewing and screwing them on and off, which also makes putting on clothes hard (some just don't go on with the head attached - since they she shouldn't raise her arms above her shoulders).

I purchased a connector set and two additional head adapters and I can literally change a head in under 15 seconds without any fear of hurting the TPE! This has been awesome!!! Well worth the money!

Important update information:

Jeff from Booty Call Dolls informed me that some customers of the magnetic M16 head connector do have problems with the thread depth inside the head.

Those are having these problems please check the following:

Make sure that there are no "iron residues from the doll production" left within the thread.
It happens very often that the ground of the thread is filled with that.
Therewith you are not able to turn in the top section the full depth.

The ground of the threat must be visible and free of these residues as you can see it in the picture.

If you are not able to see the ground, please take a small screw driver and remove the residues carefully.
And make sure that there are no residues inside the thread groove.
Therefore you can use a small and used teeth brush.

The top section of the connector has the following measurements.

As you can see you need a depth of 14mm for screwing the top section inside the head that it looks like this (as shown within the handbook).

During the construction phase of the connector I checked a lot of different TPE dolls heads together with tests made from my doll owner friends.

The minimum of 14mm depth was always given.

Those customers that do have a shorter thread depth please contact me per PM.
I'm able to provide a shorter version of the top section.
Please tell me in addition which head is affected from that situation.

Thanks for posting this information.
I'm in the process of designing a head stand for use with these connectors, so this was very helpful!

Just to clarify...
On my WM #21 head, there appears to be some grey resin at the bottom of the threaded hole.
Is this the residue you are talking about?
So, you are saying if I remove this material it should look like the metal bottom in your photo, correct?

Hi MannequinFan,

yes, please, try it with a small screw driver.
The thread housing of all Jinshan doll heads is the same.
So the clear bottom should be visible afterwards and the installation of the connector top section should be possible.

Please do us a favour.
Can you take pictures while removing the grey resin ?
It would describe the process and doll owners affected with that problem would see how to do.

And keep us updated of the head stand.
That will also be very helpful.

Alright, it appears that my #21 head has a different type of connector.
It's just a threaded ring insert instead of a solid drilled piece and the resin at the bottom of the hole is just a thin plug that can break off easily and fall into the head if you are not careful.

So until a solution to this issue is found, my advice here would be to NOT try to remove the resin plug if you have this type of connector.
I'm not sure if this is an older design that they have since changed, or perhaps it's not from the same factory.
This is a smaller head for a 125cm doll, so I'm not sure if they use different connectors on the smaller heads or not.

Here's a closeup of the connector.
The thread depth is only about 8.5mm deep, and the depth to the resin plug which is now gone was about 12mm if I remember correctly...

I would like to thank you very much for your PM's explaining and showing me all details and in addition for introducing the situation to the doll community.

As you mentioned in your last PM the doll head is more than 2 years old.
I'm prepairing some shorter top sections with 8mm depth for doll owners having such a doll head.
For all newer doll heads everything is working as intended.

Latest status, we have done a re-order since these flew off the shelf fast with promotions.
We have five full sets coming in and 12 head pieces.
Of these, two full sets have been pre-ordered as well as 7 head sets leaving three full sets and 5 head pieces.
