Took me more then 6 hours just to clean my first brand new doll i was a nervous wreck

my room looked like a place under construction with a tiny cute thing in middle.
Talking about inexperience and euphoria.

You doc i imagine fixing this doll just a little worried with a lot of calm decisions.
Admire your way, and finishing what you start everytime is a gift.

You sure aren't wasting any time! Looking good so far! Her twin sister is coming along and starting to feel better, a lot of minor damage and a few major ones. Your PIB will will be completed long before I am able to complete mine. I am working on a way to to replace her finger wires and re-attach them to her existing forearm bones at the moment. I have been able to get inside her wrists and see what's what, and I think I may have it figured out. Good luck and keep up the good work! Cataleya says hello. I have been calling her "Flopsie" lately, but she doesn't mind!

Lol thank you guys. For the finger wires i used a little cable like for electrical wires clustered them together after i put them individually into her fingers. Had to remove some old wires the same stuff by the way

Fixed her right elbow. The damage

If this works i can fill the other elbow with semi rigid silicone as well. Pulled the copper wire out from the elbow to the wrist. That is as much as i could get out of her.

I'm sorry to say but that in between legs part vulgarly called split zone is impossible to fix.

I have fixed several dolls with the same issue no problem.
Believe me it isn't too hard to do.

i know that tpe can be heated and shaped to do repairs,but can platnium or regular silicone be also heated to the point of melt? thanks for any advise.

Silicone is inert,meaning that it won't change form again.
You can burn it kind of. It will leave the silicone white where it gets burned. It does not melt and is an entirely different animal altogether. Wait til you see the back of the arm! Will take a pic once she sets up a little more.

Silicone has to be cleaned with acetone and mended with a special kind of adhesive sil-poxy from smooth-on company.
You cannot use the same things for cleaning and maintanance either.
