Progress in TPE dolls

Post by Booty Call Dolls »

Ok, let's keep this positive.
Yes, there are things we want to see addressed like better fingers, necks, and weight.
ROE, list one thing you think was great!

I will start with D4E piper doll seamless neck!
Whose next?

I absolutely love the seamless neck, and how the neck actually fits her head. My current doll the neck seems a bit wide for the head. That and I wish my dolls neck worked like that.

That's cool. How would one remove the head, if at all possible?

I don't think that's possible. This model seems have the head built in. Unless they've gotten really good with hiding their seams (video says seamless). It looks like the neck to head is seamless and permanent TPE.

I absolutely love this idea. When taking photos, one of the key things I always seem to focus on is not showing that seam where her head and neck meet. It would be great to not have to worry about this. I would happily trade the ability to swap out heads for more realism!

This looks awesome! I think its a great Idea! Looks way better than what I experienced from the standard removable head TPE doll.

Agree completely.

I may be in the minority, I'm not sure. But my doll is who she is, you know? This is her body. And this is her head. End of story. If I want another face, I'll get another body to go with it. That's just part of how I try to foster a sense of realism with my girl. It helps me get there anyway.

Best,
Broven

seamless is cool, but first, let's get ALL dolls using hinges instead of gooseneck. That's the most important thing. Really the whole skeleton needs an overhaul. Do newer model dolls still creak really loud when you move the legs?

This is a detail from a current TPE doll skeleton. All dolls manufactured by this brand are available with this skeleton type. So, clearly yes, progress is being made. Sadly, not all brands have cought up, and sadly we are not allowed to mention the brands that push progress forward.
