I think it could be a good idea, but as someone mentioned it looks like an engine hoist. And that really is all that it is apart from the swing. Without a deal, Harbor Freight sells Engine Hoists for $170. Wait for a holiday, and they usually have 25-30% coupons. A mod to hold a doll couldn't cost too much. How much is that over engineered engine hoist?
I'd think after looking at this we can come up with a better solution.
I imagine a sex sling and a series of ropes and pulleys would do the job.
It would be some creative explaining to someone on why you have what appears as an engine hoist inside your house or apartment.
Also an office chair with wheels and armrests can be a cheap doll dolly.

Ok guys... it does seem like a joke to use that thing, but he points out a serious concern: weight. My doll is fairly new and still stiff, that's probably because its exhausting to lift and re-pose her. I wish there was a lighter weighing doll that was still 5 feet tall.
