Well The state of intoxication where I hail from is actually A Province in the great northern country we call Canada.Intoxication can come from many things.Right now my main source of intoxication happens to come from The best beverage known to man. [IMHO] Beer. I hope to be as lucky as Unknown138 shortly and have another source. A Sexy Brandi Lynn Doll.Until then. Beer will do just fine.

First of all Sam that is one hot looking doll. I'm sure she also comes at one hell of a high price compared to a 1st-pc.Now I guess if your out to do Hustler type photo shoots then that is your doll. However if your just gonna bang the hell out of the poor girl and don't need her to hold the pose by herself here is a better idea. You could use the money your gonna spend on one real doll and buy two 1stp-pc dolls .This way you could have that two girl fantasy we guys always dream about [DON'T LIE I KNOW YOU HAVE] and not have to worry about a cat fight later.

I'm just kidding Sam. I don't mean to offend.

I'd love it if my Brandi Lynn doll would hold poses. I enjoy taking photographs of her, and the positions I can get her to "pose" in are indeed limited. But my primary use for the doll is sex, so I couldn't justify the $3500-$6000 difference in cost between the 1st-PC and some of the other dolls out there. But I have often said, if you are looking more for a photographic prop, then 1st-PC dolls are probably not going to satisfy that need as well as one of the other options available.

No worries 310smokeme, i don't offend that easily

I've been seeing a fair number of secondhand Realdolls on the market as of late, many in the $1500.00 to $2500.00 range, the latter range often being of platinum cure.
Ahh, decisions, decision?

But the 1st PC dolls seem like a nice doll for that price range, and certainly worthy of consideration.

Truthfully though, I'm just now getting out of debt, so unfortunately, another doll is much further off than i wish? I will have to settle on living my doll fantasies through the rest of you for the time being, so be generous with those photos!

I'd love to own a Real Doll, especially one of those Wicked Real Dolls (droooooool), or a Private Island Beauty, or a 4-Woods...all of them are so realistic and just beautiful. I mean, wow.

But my budget doesn't allow it. From an income perspective, I can easily afford it, but I bought my doll sort of on the DL. I am married, so it is sort of hard to explain an $8000 expense :) (and no, the wife does not know about the doll. For reasons I won't go into, sex with the wife is not currently possible, not her fault, but it is what it is...and I'd rather not tell her that I am seeking companionship with a doll...anyway...) I started with an inflatable doll, she kept on leaking, so I decided I would find a way to go to a solid doll. I did some research, and decided that the Candy8teen Body 5 doll was the way to go (see my avatar). While I was waiting for the Body 5 doll to arrive, I lucked up and got a great deal on a used Brandi Lynn (which was my second choice, but at that time, a new one would have been like 3 grand).

So why do I tell you all of this? I had fun with each and every one of these dolls. If you want a Real Doll, but you can only afford a 1st-PC, or a Candy8teen, then you are really missing out on some amazing fun while you wait around to get the funds to get the Real Doll. Just my opinion.

We all have our reasons.

My wife and I are separated .Hiding the doll is not an issue for right now.My divorce will be the last in a long line of failed relationships . My fault.Probably. The point is this. My doll is going to fulfill a certain missing component in my life and the best thing about it.She can't take my money. That will be voluntary on my part. She will never say NO! Never bitch at me.Ohh and here it is!! THE KICKER!! ARE YOU READY!!! NEVER SCREW AROUND ON ME!!

That is more then I can say about the last real so called female human I have been involved with.

Hey Unknown138.

A question I never thought to ask you.How is your Tara For sleeping and cuddling with? I'm thinking maybe not so good just judging by her natural posture.

Thanks.

Smoke

Yeah, I would not call 1st-PC dolls "cuddly". I have had her sleep with me at night a couple of times, and, I guess the convenience of waking up next to her, all dressed in lingerie and such, is nice...but not really good for snuggling with, etc. Your experience may vary though.

I thought that was your Brandi Lynn in your avatar unknown138? But your point was well taken, and actually, I do have a doll already. She's a candy8teen Taffy model, I've had her for about 4 or 5 months now. Not long after I got her though, I found myself wanting\needing a higher level of realism? For me, this has become an important factor for any future doll purchasing decisions. My username probably provides some clues to this, as I long for the day ( But of course, not holding my breath?) when realistic, high tech animatrons become the norm.

But I can sympathize with your point on the cost of a high end doll, there's no way short of an orchard full of money trees that I could justify dropping $6K + on a new high end doll (So many dolls, so little money? ). There does seem to be a good many RealDolls available on the secondhand market though, so there's some hope out there?

I hear you there 310smokeme. It's nice being a bachelor and not having any relationship worries. Dolls come without stress, and so they're the perfect girlfriends.

Sam

Nope. That's my Candy8teen in my avatar. I suppose I could change it to my Brandi Lynn doll, but...I like the pic :)

I think you would find a very significant difference in realism between a 1st-PC, especially a Brandi Lynn or one of the newer dolls, and a Taffy. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking Taffy dolls, or Candy8teen in general, but I agree with you. I liked my Body 5, but she was not nearly as realistic as my Brandi Lynn. In certain light, and from certain angles, you cannot tell that my Brandi Lynn is not a real person. In fact, I was trying to sell a few pieces of poorly fitting lingerie on eBay, and used my Brandi Lynn as a model. My auctions got pulled from eBay and I was told that any photographs of exposed human anatomy had to go into the adults only section  I re-did the shots and made sure to take them from angles that didn't expose anything, and it was okay.

On the subject of used Real Dolls:

I too was looking into that option, but I found that any of the platinum cure models from the last 3-4 years that look like they are well maintained end up selling for $3000 or more. Again, I just couldn't spend that much. But, if the money wasn't an issue...I might have done that. There are several of the "high end" dolls out there that are just incredibly gorgeous. I'd love to have one, but for now, I am pretty satisfied with my 1st-PC.

Yes, just by going from photos I have noticed this as well. I now wish that I had held out and just went right to a 1st PC Doll. Oh well, you live and learn as the saying goes. Wouldn't it be great if such a place existed that had all of the popular models of dolls for you to see and try out before buying? And actually, I have read of a sort of "Doll Bordello" that one guy opened up, I believe somewhere in Europe? This would take away a lot of the guess work of a doll purchase?

I think the Brandi Lynn's pretty hot, but I really like the Natalie, I think she's my favorite? I heard that RJ sometimes has a pretty good deal on these dolls during the holiday season?

Keep an eye out on their site, 1st-PC runs some really awesome specials, but it seems to be random. There was a short time there where you could get a Brandi Lynn for like $1799. I saw once where you could get a Natalie or a Nichole for like $1499. Pretty crazy! But those deals seem to come and go.

Congratulations there Marcus,

I wish I could be saying the same?

I've noticed that in some pictures, Natalie looks very different than the pictures that you see at 1st PC's site? In fact, she looks awesome in this particular photo!

Yes, absolutely, both my 1st-pc dolls can spread their legs nice and wide.
